Full job description

The Sr. Program Manager will be expected to motivate the whole project team to deliver the agreed scope within the allocated time and budget parameters. This position, located in our Calgary, Alberta office reporting directly to the Vice President Operations (Canada).

Responsibilities:

Manage all project/program work (includes managing project related work across multiple departments - engineering, operations, international).
Liaise with corporate office – Work with the project team to develop and provide Annual forecast for each fiscal year.
Execute complex, defense-related acquisition and support programs.
Organize, coordinate, and direct the project activities internally and externally.
Set up and operate the governance for the project.
Direct, motivate and provide leadership for the entire project team.
Develop and manage relationships with customers.
Ensure effective and open communication throughout the project team and with all stakeholders.
Lead the project team planning efforts and resolve resource conflicts across concurrent projects.
Liaise with Business Development team.
Prepare and deliver project status reports across all projects.
Integrate the outputs from the projects turning the capabilities into the required outcomes for the stakeholders.
Deliver Project to agreed time, cost, quality and benefits parameters.
Travel, 25-30%
Managing budgets and schedules. Annual operating plan for contract.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience managing aircraft integration projects and/or programs
Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing $50M+ contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

PMI/PMP Certification
Experience in Electronic Systems Integration
Extensive experience liaising with the Canadian Department of National Defense.
