THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Team Lead, the Senior Programmer Analyst will be responsible for working as part of Memorial's Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) team to provide technical support and develop core business applications of the university. Duties include:
Working independently or as technical lead of a project team to review client requirement documents to build system requirement specifications
Providing technical support for application upgrades
Working as second and third tier support to diagnose and troubleshoot customer software issues
Developing technical solutions as per system requirements to meet business needs and IT specifications according to architecture design, and security requirements
Documenting, coding, and testing solutions using ITIL best practices. Building change requests and coordinating resources for execution, seeking Change Advisory Board approval
Troubleshooting software problems and identifying or implementing solutions
Participating in integration and regression testing
Preparing technical documentation
Providing technical design and development expertise to integrate applications
Providing technical expertise to develop architecture diagrams for new applications
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience (3-5 years) in analysis and programming; graduation from a four-year college or university degree with major coursework in computer science, engineering, or business management are required; or an equivalent combination of experience and training will be considered. A demonstrated working knowledge of Java and/or .NET, SQL, Oracle, Restful API Services, Windows, and/or UNIX, along with strong organizational, writing, and communications skills are required. Experience working in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment such as Banner would be considered an asset.
SALARY $66,379 - $86,042 per annum (Management and Professional)
