Summary
'Food Crew Members' are a vital role at Davis Concessions, where your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests at The Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg June 12 - 21st 2026. We are looking for energetic Food & Beverage staff to join the team to deliver an excellent guest experience at The Ex. We have several concessions and are hiring for a variety of positions ranging from deep frying & grilling to serving and cashier for the 10 days of the fair.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality in a fast paced environment
- Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process transactions accurately.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity.
- Ensure Manitoba food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest experiences.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
- Support team members to ensure smooth operation during busy event hours.'
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not needed.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Must be available all 10 days of the fair. Must be available on weekends. Only those available for all days will be hired. Weekdays off will be provided yes.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Good time management skills to handle fast-paced environments.
- MUST be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
