Full job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a professional Sandblaster to join our team. Your role would include sandblasting metal parts, and ensuring all work is done in a safe and timely manner. You will report to the Rubber Supervisor at our flagship location in Langley, B.C. and are expected to work on the dayshift Monday to Thursday 5am-3:30pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sandblast all types of parts.
Maintenance of sandblast equipment.
Apply primer and bonding agents with brush and roller.
Paint industrial parts to specifications.
Meet production targets and timelines on various jobs.
Operate equipment safely.
Operate forklift.
Clean and maintain work area.
Uphold material quality standards.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have at least two (2) years of paint or sandblasting work experience.
Must be comfortable working with chemicals and able to follow safe work practices.
Industrial Sandblasting with SCBA in a dedicated indoor blasting booth.
Able to operate a Forklift.
Able to read blueprints and follow written work instructions in English language.
Positive attitude in a team environment.
Dependable with strong work ethics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
