Summary
We are currently seeking a Shipping Receiving and part-time driver who has a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, particularly with a 5-ton truck. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform vehicle inspections and maintenance when necessary. Responsibilities will include transporting goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws, and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy and efficiency.
- deliver products within the local area to ensure prompt and efficient service for our customers.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload goods.
- Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems.
- Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure smooth distribution processes.
- Assist in inventory management and stock organization.
- Support order fulfillment activities to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
- Valid driver's license, a clean driving record
- Forklift experience operating forklifts and reach trucks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects as required.
