Full job description

Russell Hendrix is looking to find a Showroom Sales Supervisor for our sales team in Victoria. You’ll be an integral part of the team’s operations, trusted to lead the team in service and process. This position requires a drive to deliver on goals, excellent communication skills, and a high attention to detail. This is an ideal position for an individual who is looking lead a team, enabling others to find solutions for customers.

What You’ll Do:

Assist all customers, in person and over the phone.
Deliver a high level of customer service.
Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
Accurately process customer and inventory transactions.
Maintain the appearance of the showroom, warehouse, and front counter.
Un-pack, price, and merchandise products in the showroom.
Promote in-store demonstrations and events to staff and customers.
Perform inventory related procedures, including counts, and shipping and receiving.
Create showroom schedule, ensuring an appropriate level of staffing day to day as well as during scheduled events.
Participate in product knowledge sessions and stay up to date with product and industry information.
Perform daily cash procedures, including end of day.
Train, coach, and motivate Showroom Sales Representatives.
Actively participate in the review cycle of Showroom Sales Associates.
Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace.
Other tasks, as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:

You have at least 2 years of food industry experience.
You have a held previous leadership positions.
You are familiar with retail transactions, including inventory management.
You are tech savvy and proficient with common programs such as Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
You are highly collaborative and team oriented.
You are naturally organized and have a high attention to detail.
You have an ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs.
You have a demonstrated history of solving customer problems.
You have a passion to learn and contribute.
You work well with independently but know when to ask for help and keep the team informed.
You are comfortable with giving and receiving feedback.
You are able to maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations.
