Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard/Bouncer to ensure the safety and security of our venue, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle various security situations with confidence. This role is essential in maintaining a safe environment and preventing incidents through proactive monitoring and enforcement of policies.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to control access and verify identification when necessary
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
Enforce venue rules and regulations, including age restrictions and conduct policies
Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, including crowd control as needed
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with management regarding security concerns
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during serious incidents or investigations

Experience

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required; relevant training will be provided
Strong communication and customer service skills
Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
Physical fitness to patrol large areas and stand for extended periods is necessary
