Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Foreman/woman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role involves supervising construction teams, ensuring project quality, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The Construction Foreman/woman will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality construction projects efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and documentation
Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
Manage project budgets by monitoring costs and resource allocation effectively
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among team members
Provide supervision for subcontractors and labor crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, progress reports, and safety documentation

Requirements

Proven experience supervising construction projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles
Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and budgeting processes
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively
Experience in quality control procedures within the construction industry
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
