Continuous Improvement Coordinator

At Trylon, we design and manufacture infrastructure solutions that support global communications. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to help support process improvements across our operations.
This is an onsite role in Elmira, ON, ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build hands-on experience in continuous improvement, data analysis, and operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering data, preparing materials, and following up on actions
- Assist with root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, basic problem-solving tools)
- Track project tasks, timelines, and action items
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making
- Build and maintain simple dashboards or reports (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
- Help develop and update work instructions and process documentation
- Constructive participation in CI meetings (take notes and follow up on commitments) while developing skills to run the meetings in the future
- Support training and roll-out of new processes or improvements
- Collaborate with teams across Production, Quality, and Engineering
- Identify opportunities for small process improvements or automation
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience preferred (co-op or internship experience considered)
- Desire to learn and develop your Continuous Improvement methodology and skills
- General purpose automation thinking (what should be automated vs. left manual)
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
- Interest in continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma (training provided)
- Organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail
- Pragmatism (good enough vs. perfection), able to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different levels of Trylon
- Curiosity and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools is an asset
