Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, engaging, and qualified Online French as a Second Language (FSL) Instructor to deliver high-quality virtual French language instruction to students in an interactive online learning environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about language education, skilled in online teaching methodologies, and committed to fostering student confidence, communication, and language acquisition.

This role is ideal for an educator seeking a flexible part-time teaching opportunity with a focus on communicative, student-centered instruction.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver effective FSL lessons tailored to various proficiency levels
Create engaging instructional materials and activities that promote active learning
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with special education needs
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and school programs
Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement

Requirements

Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential
Prior classroom teaching experience, preferably with diverse or special education populations
Strong communication skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with colleagues
Demonstrated ability to develop creative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
Experience working with students requiring special education accommodations is a plus
Passion for language education and cultural exchange
Certification or formal training in teaching FSL or related fields is preferred

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
