Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensure a positive dining experience, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role involves preparing and serving beverages and food, managing POS transactions, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS systems are preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a strong commitment to hospitality.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems such as Micros POS.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
Handle cash, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy.
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including setting up and breaking down stations.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills.
Restock supplies as needed and assist in opening or closing duties as assigned.
Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Micros POS or similar cashiering systems is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
