We are seeking an entrepreneurially minded Full Time Xray and BMD Technologist who will be dedicated to the development and maintenance of our beautiful new clinic.
This technologist will work collectively with our Imaging Lead and Director of Clinical Operations to ensure the highest quality of operations in the clinic.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Xray and BMD technologist under the direction of the Clinic Director perform all technical procedures using independent judgment and take initiative in the daily duties as required. The successful candidate is responsible for designated areas or procedures as required and be responsible for maintaining and upholding the standards of relevant professional organizations. The successful candidate must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety standards, IPAC, WHMIS and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment. Must be able to maintain all aspects of Xray and BMD Quality Assurance Program including equipment, policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:
- Current certification as an M.R.T.
- It is mandatory to maintain membership in the CMRITO
- X-ray and BMD experience and certification

- Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) is required
Job Role:
- Patient preparation for and performance of x-ray and bone density scans following the required guidelines for the procedures
- Record and process patient data
- Participates in quality monitoring and evaluation activities and maintains measures to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensures that equipment performance is optimum, performs appropriate quality control test and adjustments to maximize image quality
- Update, file and maintain client information
- Review of previous reports and discussion with physicians and radiologists
- Coordinates with vendor or equipment technicians for preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality
- Coordinates with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service and client experience
- Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators and members of the health care team.
- Prepare and calculate month-end billing information and statistics
