ANC has potential to be a positive work-environment and overall an enjoyable production job, but not without critical changes to address some of the major issues. 

This workplace has one of the worst gossip and bullying problems that I’ve experienced. They should consider some sort of change to a zero-tolerance gossip and bullying policy that employees must sign and understand that leads to consequences like dismissal. this issue led to an imbalanced workplace where power-tripping goes unchecked and allows coworkers to be condescending and unprofessional towards each-other. 
There is something to be said about the majority of management being involved through family or otherwise outside of work. Since there is a lot of history between many of the upper-level staff and management, it makes it nearly impossible for staff to report indiscretions to a completely unbiased outlet. Rules, instructions and policy can be inconsistent for this exact reason. Splitting up those who are friends or related to have no overlap of any kind in management, supervisory staff and production staff in areas of operation could lead to improvements. 
Cannabis legalization created an entirely new industry with lots of growth and opportunity, so there’s a lot of learning as they go. Every day something can change or shift as they try to learn and adapt to make adjustments and improvements, which could be said for majority of other cannabis producers. At times it can feel slightly chaotic or unstable because of this, but it could be attributed to the cannabis industry itself. 

The most chaotic and toxic work environment that I’ve ever experienced. Investors and owners should not be involved in managing workers day-to-day due to a mile long list of reasons, including favouritism, lack of experience, and an overarching mindset of profit over employees. They lack professionalism and basic people-skills including respect, which contributes to massive turnover and impromptu firings. They have no problem lying to employees and gaslighting them. Unless there is a complete change in the management team, I doubt the conditions of this workplace improve at all. 
There is also little to no communication for job duties, roles and titles, scheduling and organization in general. Often the expectations for the amount of work to get done with time and resources are delusional and unrealistic, especially considering the lack of raises and low-wages. Even when goals are met or exceeded, they are not happy and will still expect more.  There is no appreciation or gratitude for majority of employees and the likelihood of hearing a “thank you” are slim to none. There is also plenty to be said about the cliques, gossip and bullying that occurs daily with no reprimand or consequences for the perpetrators.
Overall a very disorganized and difficult place to work that cares very little about the health, safety and overall wellness of their employees. 

This is a horrible company, managers have severe favouritism and don’t care to show it, the supervisors are unprofessional and do whatever they want since they know they can get away with it (not all but most). This place is unfair to people. HR is incompetent, and resolve absolutely nothing! The only way you can advance in this company is if you’re a favourite. They only apply their rules and dress code when convenient to them, management, HR, supervisors, and upstairs office employees can wear what they want, no matter how revealing or “unprofessional” and there is no issue for them. They are completely entitled, and foolish. This job has caused so many mental health issues (including myself), and even then, they don’t take you seriously... The only good thing about this place are some of the coworkers and some of the events that the company has. gossip here is an all-time high. They will have you looking foolish asking for a well deserved raise, and will make sure to make it difficult and long for you to get it, if they even agree to it (which rarely happens) they don’t care about production employees at all. They have whole families working in same areas making it unfair as well to other co workers, they only have values, principles and morals when convenient to them. I could go on and on about how bad this place is but I will leave it at that. If you value your mental health and you’re your own self, if you have dignity, and are a creative person avoid this place they will ruin you inside out!

This was one of the most fun jobs I've had before I started to notice how things are being run behind the scenes. Management doesn't seem to actually care about their employees unless they're one of the favourites (aka Leads). This company relies heavily on referrals so the majority of people that work there are related in some way, which means the nepotism runs deep. Rumors fly fast and is mainly spread from the leads so be careful who you talk to about what. 
Also, they somehow found a loophole to hiring and you end up being on 6 months "probation" instead of 3. The first 3 months you're on contract (even though it's not super clear about that) and then after that you're considered permanent but still in your 3 month probation. This means that within that 6 months they don't have to give you any warning before firing you, and you don't get benefits until you've been there for another 3 months, which is 9 months in total. After that time your benefits aren't even that great, but you do get access to their gym (for an extra cost). You'll go far in this company as long as you're willing to put in an obscene amount of overtime or be the fastest roller, otherwise you probably won't get noticed much.
I really did have an amazing time working there and met great people, but this company is being run by young people with no experience in supervising so many employees. It's fun for a short time but don't expect to be there for long 

ANC comes off as an inclusive and progressive company but misses the bar by a large percentage. I worked there for 3 months and only ever witnessed the opposite. 

1. The employee pool is quite ethnically diverse, yet there is segregation from the production rooms to the lunch room creating a cultural divide. 

2. The leads(floor managers) responsible for keeping the production crews motivated are young kids mostly with zero management experience outside of ANC. 

3. ANC sends out company emails to all staff talking about work related issues then threatens the staff with warnings/write ups if they talk about the emails at work. 

4. The possibility of advancement is real if you’re willing to play favourites with your management staff. It is a very young lead team and the environment is reminiscent of high school so the culture is very much the same.

Overall it was not a great experience by any stretch and I would highly advise against joining their “team” at ANC.

this is mostly a company that does other lp prerolls not a seed company any more. expect prerolls or seed packaging to be your whole day.
constant confusion for shift schedules, pay, supplies, job duties, infighting, ego, and favoritism for workers related to management and their friends.
turnover is a joke for prerolls and reception. tiny grow team (they are mostly ok). people complain a ton here but don't do it seriously to bosses here even if you have solutions because you will lose your job with no warning or reason. seen it happen too many times.
no accountability from management, it is all just words.
you know it's bad when people talk about beating up management. it's gossipy here even in management so keep your mouth shut.
a free last minute lunch once in a while is nice but ain't a benefit. neither is giving us liquor on fridays then we drive home.
industry is chaotic in general but it ain't a excuse to be like this.

I have been with the company just shy of a year now and have seen so many great things being created here. The room for growth within the company is always there and as long as you voice that you want to move up, they will begin working with you to see where you can fit. 

Although majority of the management team are younger, they are quite mature and treat you with respect. They are able to take criticism when needed and will use this to help grow themselves. 

The job is extremely fast-paced and detail oriented. It is pretty repetitive, but you are able to move to different departments if you need a change, you just need to let your lead know this. 

For how new the company is, they are doing a great job so far and I really enjoy working here! 

The top boss is very nice and respectful with everyone, sadly some of the bottom "senior management" young people which by the way,  involved romantically with one top manager, appears to be nice at first but becareful with the appearances, they do not provide instructions in how to do the job, and expect you to know it all, the high turn over employees need to find out by themselves, while masking it as if you have questions asked, while arguing they are so busy to train someone, then after not providing new tasks because they "do not trust you" and when they do, they bombard you acknowledging all top management of the mistakes you made. As a result, the stress level is enormous and not worth to reject other job opportunities with better work culture. Salary is Not great either. The only good here is the flexibility of the work hrs. 

Unfortunately I was incredibly excited working here and was reassured not to worry about " the reviews " during my time here.

As time went on I realized that nepotism wins here. Management is very young so in my opinion, there is lack of experience and knowledge that can only be gained from time and experiences. 

The workers work hard, but I feel for the leads. They have a HUGE amount of stress to deal with. I think this causes people to lash out. Unfortunately they go through production crew members like popcorn, and so it's just constant frustration on every angle. Training in how to run a team and also how to be a productive team member should be included but it isn't. 

This is a very disorganized & favourites obessessed work culture. Management is friends and holds different rules for themselves and staff that are friends. Power trips are common. Communication is a big weakness. If you have a good idea management will steal it. So much turnover here it is insane. They finally have benefits but even then they don't get that right. Also some of us need to work 2 jobs, HR does but will fire you if you do even if it is a different shift and industry.
