You need to be tough mentally and physically to work here for any substantial length of time. 
You need a thick skin to work in this place.  A soft man will not last in this environment.  The plant is not cooled when it's hot outside, and it's not heated when it's freezing outside.  AZZ will provide you with popsicles when it's hot during the sweltering summers.  This factory has a tremendously high turnover rate, making it easy to become disillusioned with the job.  Personally, I think this can be attributed to people not wanting to work hard for a living anymore.  It's all about easy money these days.  Galvcast used to be a family owned business before it was taken over by the Americans.  When it was family owned, employee appreciation was off the scale.  They even had annual Christmas parties.  Alas, those days are long gone.

Since I worked from my home office my week was very structured and disciplined. I got into the habit of allocating time slots for working on the computer, customer phone calls, sales and project follow ups and visits for product presentation and meetings with existing and potential clients. The most rewarding part of my job was identifying the needs of the client and being able to offer the best solution for the application.
Time management and organizations skills were critical and an integral part of the job and maintaining this constantly made me avoid unexpected surprises.

We tied up piece's of metal to a rack for galvanizing, i learnt the process of how to galvanize, the managment was awesome, it was a good work space lot of  room to move around you weren't shoulder to soulder with someone, the hardest part of the job was figuring out how to put all the pieces without touching, i liked how fast pace it was and always keeping bussy

With regret the Canadian Division closed its doors not enough work in canada currently to keep the canadian division running.hopefully when the marketplace for E houses picks up they will return

cold in winter hot in summer management have no care for the health of the employees, work equipment is not up to date that make it easier to work and are not taken into consideration by management

Money is good job is not so good  bad for your body and over all health and management is up and done changing things employees are coming and going not a good environment
