It is truly great to work here, the teams are really diverse and work so well together. There is a huge emphasis on Work Life balance and Mental Health. The time off and benefits are second to none, we used to be a hybrid Work From Home 2 days a week and since last year we have switched to 4 Day Work Weeks.... No additional Hours to make up, no reduction in pay, JUST 4 Days!!! Its amazing, every weekend is a long weekend with the family. So not only do we only work 4 days a week, we are also closed for 2 full weeks (PAID) over Christmas/New Years. I am leaving out so many other random days off for Volunteering and BBQ's, Food Trucks and Water Slides (all paid by the company) it goes on and on... They also pay extremely well, and the bonuses they have created for all levels of staff are quite impressive, Quarterly Bonuses, Profit Sharing Bonuses (companywide) etc... 
The Culture here is also above and beyond; The teams really work cohesively and hang out after work hours and organize events like bowling and football games in the States!! We also have company Sports Teams like Hockey, Basketball and Soccer, etc
The work is not for "slackers", you are expected to pull your weight and encouraged to try new things and even fail if you need to, but as long as you are trying your best, DNE will support you and find the right fit for your skillset. BUT you need to actually put in the work, show up on time, don't sneak out early, work hard and help others and you will thrive. Many areas to move up in this company it is a true GEM!! I can not say enough good things about working here, I've been here 8 years and hope to stay for a long time. In short, if you work hard and are a good teammate, you will be rewarded.

PROS:
It's all about the quality of people that we get to work with every day. From those great people come great results for our customers and that allows us to perform well as a business. From there strong business performance allows us to stay hungry and humble constantly investing back into our team and our communities.

CONS:
Even at 15 years old we are still a pretty young company and always learning and trying to improve. A new teammate might join and point out that there's a key process that needs major improvement, or there was a communication gap for instance. We need this fresh perspectives and I hope that whomever is reading this will see what we call in our final round interviews the "warts" on our business (the things we are working to get better at such as process) as exciting opportunities to come help us make the constant improvements needed to continue to be a Great Place to Work and a great company overall.

I have worked at DNE Resources for 5 years now. During that time I have made many strong friendships because the people in every department from top to bottom are great people. I have been treated very fairly throughout my time here and management has always had my back with any work or non work related issues .

There are so many great team events(Paid by the company) to promote having fun aswell as working hard. Dinners, BBQs, Waterslides, Tubing and even possible vacations.

DNE is very generous when it comes to time off, sick days, vacation days, holidays and even paid days off in the summer.

There have been many rewarding experiences such as Food Dives at Christmas Time, Retrofitting lighting projects at non profit organizations and even painting schools in Jamaica. All of which felt amazing to help out.

Being a part time single father of 2 boys makes life difficult at times. Management is very considerate of someone's personal life and needs and at the same time they put in alot of effort to help reach your professional goals.

DNE is a GREAT place to work !!!

Working at DNE has been remarkable. The collaborative spirit, combined with the positive workplace culture, makes coming to work a genuine pleasure each day. Time seems to fly by, and the significant autonomy granted empowers me to work both diligently and with enjoyment.

Furthermore, DNE places a strong emphasis on personal and professional development. They provide valuable resources and funding for acquiring new skills, which I have personally benefited from. I also deeply appreciate the open-door policy, which fosters direct communication with any team member, bypassing traditional corporate hierarchies.

If you're goal-oriented, ambitious and very energetic, this may be the place for you. You'll get all the tools you need to be an expert in sales but like anywhere else, there will be setbacks and obstacles along the way. At least the management team here always tries to help you despite the ups and downs because success does not happen here overnight. That's a refreshing change from the other sales companies I've worked for. All those who are successful here and get the big money and promotions are dedicated leaders, they are 110% committed to you.

You love it because of the culture. I've worked in a bunch of different sales companies, but none are close to matching the culture that is established here. The fact that everyone has a word and I can just suggest things to the CEO and they are considered and sometimes even implemented in a matter of days, that's pretty awesome. Also, the games room is fun during breaks.

You hate it because you need to work for your money. It's all about the commissions, so if you're not working hard, nothing will come in for days even sometimes weeks. But the fact that I see my managers succeed and that they teach me the techniques, I see the potential.

Constant operational changes, salary and or your contract. Sneaky management/ownership. Boys club. Women will not advance. Management is unfair and steal leads and sales. They will work you to the bone and still tell you to do more. They expect you to work during breaks and lunch,  sometimes after-hours without pay. They are extremely unreasonable about sick days. They do not practice what they preach. Non stop, cult-like "culture" events you are expected to attend in non work hours and unpaid. Only people who advance are those who have been there 10+ years. Unwilling to see value in buying new leads so you are stuck calling voicemails and people who have already declined services 100 times. This is a telemarketing job with a better title. 

I've been with DNE for almost 3 years, and what I appreciate most about this company is its strong foundation of core values. These values aren't just words on paper; they guide every decision made and ensure that we stay aligned with them. This creates a sense of trust and consistency within the company.

Another aspects of DNE  that stands out is the openness of the leadership team to receive feedback.  It’s empowering to work in a place where feedback is valued and where leaders are willing to experiment.

I’m genuinely proud to be a part of DNE, and I feel fortunate to contribute to a team that places such importance on doing things the right way.

The management has created an incredible work experience by fostering a collaborative and hardworking atmosphere where we are always willing to lend a helping hand to one another. Also, we cherish the company's mission and work together to ensure that our customers receive the best energy solutions. My peers and I, take pride in the fact that as a fast-growing company, there are ample opportunities for professional growth and career advancement, which creates a sense of job security and a bright future for all of us.

You'll often find yourself competing with other consultants and companies for the same clients. This competition can make it challenging to stand out and secure new business. When the competition is fierce, it's not the only thing that makes working at DNE Resources difficult. The management is also a major issue. My supervisor was sullen and unapproachable, and they offered very little guidance or support. When I ask for help, they would often become irritated and dismissive. The company itself is also lacking in many areas. The resources and tools that we were given were outdated and inadequate. This made it difficult to do our jobs effectively and compete with other consultants.
