I started working at Evans in 2021. . I do not regret my partnership with this company. Evans is true to their claims and I can boldly say that the integrity of the company is. As an employee, it has been an amazing thing to be part of the workforce of this peculiar and great organization. I am glad I belong here. It will always be my utmost pleasure to keep doing business with this great company to advance my business as well. I appreciate you for being amazing. Working in this company has opened me up a lot. I appreciate the efforts of this company to bring out the best in me. I am who I am because of the valuable lessons I learned here. Management is wonderful and Offer assistance to team members on their duties even when they are outside their direct obligation. They are Always ready to offer the right assistance who are having difficulty with their duties and loads. Very flexible. Well maintained relationships with all members of the team and also encourages relationships to provide professional assistance for each other when needed. I am thankful for the comfortable environment the company has provided for my colleagues and me, it makes me enjoy my work and also give my best. It is a great privilege to work here!

When first starting out at Evans trucking, I was really excited and heard nothing but good news about this company, it was good at the start, they had been really good to me when needed , it all started to go down hill mid 2023 when they struggled to find work, it has continued since then, they blamed elections, tarries, lack of freight, they never blame themselves, its always somebody else’s fault.
They have in my mind priced themselves out of the market, all drivers there can see this as they keep getting told its down to rates and that is the problem, they are asking for to much and can’t compete with other Trucking’s companies who under cut.
To be doing 7200-9300 miles a month is not acceptable and no driver can be expected to live off this.
I for one just don’t want to work at an employer and just work to survive.

I'm currently employed with Evan's Trucking! And it's by far the best company I've had privilege to work for! 

It's a family run business, very friendly and they look after their drivers. Fantastic equipment mainly running freightliners and 48ft lode kings fully kitted trailers. 

The whole staff at Evan's are friendly, great dispatch team who work to plan your schedules, lots of miles too if you like to run hard and make the extra coin. 

I make from 85k to 105k a year, lots of downtime too( never had refusal on holiday requests) super supportive for family emergencies out of the country back home.

Tarp pay is good, layover and oversize pay bumps that monthly gross up nicely! Also accure holiday pay every month based on mileage.





One of the first things you will be shown here as a driver is how to manipulate the ELD in various ways to mitigate just how bad the dispatch can be. Management promises you the world to get you behind the wheel, but you will go broke and never see your family unless you know how to cheat the system. You will spend more time waiting to get loaded/unloaded or waiting for a reload than you will actually driving. There is a huge difference between saying you are a great company and actually being one. 

I’ve come from some toxic and terrible work environments and coming here has greatly opened my eyes to how things should be in a workplace. Yes, there are responsibilities and expectations. Yes, it is a busy, fast paced job - that’s just the way transportation is. But your efforts are recognized. If you make a mistake, there’s no yelling. The core values separate this company from all others. A work/life balance is encouraged. Lunch breaks are non optional. And vacation time is encouraged. This company understands that keeping your team in good mental health keeps excellent work moral all around.

Working for Evans was a great experience. They run nice equipment have lots of work and everyone in the office is very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to do long haul.  I worked here for a year but unfortunately the long haul life style was getting to hard on the family.  Really easy to book time off.  Pay is above average.  Only complaint is it's long haul so no set schedule, so it's hard to plan your life around, and when you get home it's only for a day or two usually.

People come before profit.

Good solid trucking company.  Give you a new truck and the payment is excellent. Loved working with them.  Owners are awesome people who know what is going on and always willing to help when there's a problem. 

pick up and unload loads drive for hours the management is no good they not know what they doing and are very scattered co workers keep changing cause they not like the work and how much they expect from us the hardest part of job is tarp throwing and the long driving that I not enjoy anymore also never get home the scenery I see in all the places I go

Management is good, equipment is good, money is okay but there is no scheduling they don't care about your work life balance. Last minute changes. Inexperienced dispatch takes away your earning opportunities. They never delivered the promises they made
