At first This seems like a great job. In this area the manager is a flake. She treats her reps like children and manages her territory like at high school. She really shouldn’t be in the position either as she’s past her expired date.

The job itself is straightforward and easy. Most of the stores are great to deal with but like any business there are always those problem stores. The documentation supplied by the company is well written, clear and concise.  The documentation supplied by the company is well written clear and concise. There is no support from management when you do encounter bad stores.

Management is never available to assist when there’s a problem. When you do finally get a hold of one,  the rep is always in the wrong no matter the situation. All they care about is keeping their accounts and the reps are expendable commodity.

There are no perks  with this job. Not even free glasses. They do pay five cents a call for printing which is really a joke considering  the amount of paper and ink you go through.

They expect you to supply your own smart phone but do not provide an allowance for data or the phone itself like so many other companies. So in other  words we’re subsidizing them.

They brag about paying drive time allowance. They pay  minimum-wage and it does not increase when you get a raise. The only time the drive allowance will increase is when the government mandates minimum wage to increase. They don’t pay kms. 

Calls disappear off your workload and are given to the favourite reps. Call times are reduced to the point where you don’t have enough time to do the call .

In order to get more hours you have to suck up to the district manager in this area. But then again that doesn’t always work because once you’ve done with they want they’ll throw you out like dirty dishwater.

One of the most enjoyable jobs I’ve ever worked however with the district manager being as incompetent as she was, it was turning into a nightmare.

Apply for this job only if you like to work for a manager that bullies, lies , & isn’t trustworthy . There are much better jobs out there.

This position involved going to various retail stores and arranging, ordering and taking inventory for reading glasses and sunglass displays.

This job allowed me to form excellent working relationships with all managers and related staff I dealt with.  I would generally start early in the day, before the stores got busy.

I felt I learned to be accommodating, and respectful, since I was working for another company in the store's property.  The environment was very fast-paced, yet relaxed.  

I found the hardest part of the job was bending so as to stock lower shelves, however, this was a minor inconvenience.  The most enjoyable part of the job was just meeting people, maintaining good relationships and seeing a project through to completion with a successful display to show for it.

When this company wants to hire you they are sweet as can be and they tell you everything you wanna hear. Once you're working for them all they do is put pressure on you. You are never good enough there is no support that is positive. There is no constructive suggestions and they will always, always take the side of the client. My sister died and i was working the next day
client  ( man yelled and screamed at me and they made Me apologize to him!!!! )That was it for me. You will be thrown under the bus over and over again until you quit. And just as a sidenote many many people that have worked for that company have become terminally ill so I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

Great company to work for, was given beautiful territory in British Columbia, and just rehired as a Floater in New Jersey.  

Proud of the products and quality of displays, their state of the art computer entry system is great.

Used to be a good company until new ownership took over.
Cutting hours of visits, lower travel allowance.
High expectations for salary, management who you get no feedback.
AS an employee of many years I am looking to leave and will as soon as I
have found alternate employment

no respect for workers. no respect for long term clients.
Upper management not qualified.

You are now a number instead as part of a team

You will drive around town, shoppers clean and stock items remove returns, you're alone all the time but the managers were great , they are very helpful and the computer app you use was easy

The pay is the pits. No benefits. No travel time. No KM's. Most of the stores are good to deal with. A couple are not. Management is great. If he could get you more of everything he would.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I didnt experience any stressful situations or feelings

The thing I love most about this job is it's flexibility. You have a few days in which to complete the tasks so you can fit it into your schedule. The management is also very helpful in answering any questions you might have.
