What is the best part of working at the company?
The benefits are good, getting free glasses was amazing. You might get one or two amazing coworkers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
This company is biased, one HR person for a huge company. They choose favorites and stick with them even when they are in the wrong. Only sales motivated, becomes toxic. Lack of communication to management and from management. Certain locations have rasict staff memebers as well, and nothing is ever done.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company is toxic, rasict and ruins your mental health. Everything is based on your sales, if you don't have good sales or don't like ripping people off, not the job for you. You might get one or two nice co workers but a lot is very rude. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Selling glasses, running insurance, emailing. If you get doctors who work with you, you're busy. If not you're sat twirling your thumbs all day.

I would usually work the closing shift more than I may have wanted to, but for the most part I worked with people that tried to make work fun. I enjoyed the people I worked with and the managers was well if anything they taught me to take my time and think things through . The hardest thing about the job and the most enjoyable thing about the job stems from the same thing, helping customers. I liked solving customers problems helping find solutions that made their vision better. The most difficult part was when unhappy customers wanted something that wasn't always a quick fix or solution.

The job was good, however as soon as I had some health issues during early pregnancy and even had a doctors note for  a week off for two types of bronchitis, they gave me zero warnings and proceeded to take my hours.
I could not afford to live even though nobody actually spoke to me and instead they put it off till the week after, by then I no longer wanted to work there.

I currently work for this company as an optician.  I find the environment positive, the customers are great, and the staff are very friendly. 
 Management is helpful and promotes a healthy workplace that makes it easy to work for.  The most enjoyable part of my job is the employees that I work with and the management that I work for.

Recent changes mean new management, people who don’t know what they’re doing. There is no compassion or empathy for employees. They will go behind your back and hire people for your job. Be careful. 

Dead end job, pays minimal. Management is not organized. Breaks are not always given. Alot of unorganized scheduling , can never get a day off. Very unpredictable schedule 

Way to much stress put on new employees.. They are short staffed for many reasons, one because of management creates gossip and office drama.  HR person tells secrets to their favoured employees... very unprofessional.

The job is manageable, but the pay is low compared to industry standards. Communication from upper management to everyday workers is poor, and issues are often ignored. 

Working at factory optical was a great learning experience, and was the best job ever under my first manager. Then she quit, and the new manager assumed I knew nothing and treated me like a child.

I currently am employed and I love it, the people are nice, the environment is rewarding and it’s a wonderful place to work. I look forward to work everyday Instead of dreading it
