Fast Eddies

A typical day at work is fairly simple-- serving customers and cleaning. At times, the store can get extremely busy. It can be hard to move around since the stores are generally small, so spacial awareness is something I learned quickly. Management was lazy, and everything was left to the Assistant Manager and other employees more often than not. The workers there are generally nice people, with the odd exception of one or two who would cause large amounts of drama within the work environment and harass/attack other coworkers. The hardest part of the job is working in extreme temperatures and standing for long hours. You usually have two people working at a time, sometimes three depending on the day, which makes it near impossible to have breaks during the day (despite it being illegal to not have breaks).

Management was great and helpful with mental health but there is no care for worker safety or care if injuries occur. 

A coworker had taken an injury claim to court for a broken wrist and they dismissed it by the owners lying about how the wrist got broken. 

You are expected to keep working no matter what is happening. Burns, injuries or breakdowns.

Loved working for Fast Eddies. Hired on day of interview for a trial. Worked part time and worked up to full time. Began working a lot of overtime and was transferred to a more difficult store to get the staff and store back on track. Difficult time with previous management, went in to solve a lot of internal problems.

Not enough staff for anyone to get a proper break. You have to do everything from serving customers and cooking to trying to clean big jobs like vents and grease trap while still having to serve customers. You get stuck working every weekend and people who smoke get to many breaks. Favoritism with management .big time. Some will get weene

It was easy work, but the management sucked. They didn't know how to give proper hours to people, you barely got breaks if there wasn't enough workers on at once and it just was dirty and not a very happy place to be.

Great starting job, or just to keep you busy if you're in a transitional period, like moving, saving, or school. Friendly, easy going, but lots to learn do and to enjoy. Great Staff, Good Management.

This is an excellent place to work if you need flexible hours. The work is fast paced but also has a lot of slow periods. The most difficult part is juggling job responsibilities between coworkers who want money but don't want to be there and don't want to work.

Fast eddies is a decent place to work for the most part, the hours are not what youd want them to be if youre trying to pay bills but youre hours will flexuate on 1 how long youve been there for and 2 your attitude.

A typical work day is making sure that your work is getting done and making sure the customers are happy. The salary is bad and the hours are not to far off either. They have nice mangers but the overall management is not the best.

I work with many people who were friendly and the Managing is so much reliable. very small business , didn't have many franchise but the home base business is always a best place to start than other name brand companies in town.
