Folklorama

Folklorama is an amazing opportunity to learn about other cultures. As a dancer, I am able to convey my love for my heritage, and as a pavilion ambassador, I was able to give in-depth tours and explanations to others, as well as learn about other cultures from other pavilions.

Scottish Pavillion is not a paying job. It is volunteer work only. It is fast paced but another of fun to be apart of. All the people who volunteer are very easy to work with. They are all happy to be a part of it. 

The day went by when I worked at Folklorama. It was really fun and lovely working with other people. I learned how to prepare food with was really fun. I don't really remember hard time at that job, I really liked it and it helped me understanding and seeing how is it like being in the kitchen.

Working for London Limos has been such a positive experience! They are always fostering an environment for growth and development. I look forward to coming to work every single day, even on days that might be more stressful than others. Highly recommend working for Sample Supports.

i gained a lot of skills that had to do with communication with others and it was a great environment. i learned a lot about helping others and following rules. i would definitely go there again.

Volunteered at Folklorama as a server and made sure our guests were comfortable and well fed during their stay. I was comfortable in the environment, well respected by the people around me and overall just another person of the community.

I enjoyed working with one of the cooks, as we teamed up in making sure the supply and demand was well met, as well as making sure that all our customers were happy with the food that we were putting out.

Excellent experience to improve the knowledge about Canadian culture and a new experience with customer service too. Good communication, organization and proactivity between the volunteers.

Was very close with everyone and it was fun to volunteer for a pavillion, would do whatever i could after a show, clean tables get the garbage, etc. and before shows I would teach kids traditional cultural games.

I recommend this place very highly. you get lots of opportunities to meet new people and interact with cultures from all around the world. the people are friendly and positive.
