Freightcom is the best company to work for. The company has been rapidly growing so there is an opportunity for employees to learn more in their roles, grow in their roles, and even transition to new departments. Departments within the company are run by great department heads/leads that pay attention to employee goals and growth. Department heads and team leads find an appropriate balance between the company growth and the wellbeing of the team. Working at Freightcom will give you a thorough understanding of the shipping, logistics, freight, and eCommerce space. You are able to learn different aspects of the business, gain hands-on experience, and learn practical skills. Management is supportive and accessible for employee needs and struggles. The workplace culture is a fast-paced environment filled with individuals that are motivated in their fields but selfless.  There is a strong family and team vibe within the company that is maintained despite the growth. 



I started working at Freightcom about over a year ago, and it is one of the best places I have ever worked. My past employment experience at other companies similar to Freightcom have been disappointing to say the least, but Freightcom is nothing like that. 
From the day I started working here I felt that I have been looked at more then just an employee. I have learned many new skills, have been given many opportunities to learn how a business operates, and made many new friends. Here at Freightcom I enjoy my job and the work I do. I feel appreciated for my efforts and day to day duties. If at any point I need help, my co-workers, my management team, and even the president of the company are ready to help me and answer my questions. 
Being able to work at a company that is fast growing, competitive, and understands it’s employees are just some of the positive aspects of Freightcom.
Overall, Freightcom has given me the opportunity to use my work skills and learn new ones along the way. It has also given me many good life lessons on a personal level.

I started with Freightcom at a very transitional time in my life and had no knowledge of the shipping industry. Since the very start everyone was not only welcoming but always ready to help out. Like any job, what you put in is what you get out. 

It's very rare finding a work environment that's culture can effortlessly flow between business and family-like culture. Everyone from the rookie to the owner is approachable and open to new ideas. 

One thing that has been proven is that once you've shown you're dedicated to the team. There is so much growth potential. I was originally  hired for one position and continued to slowly build on my shipping knowledge. With open ears, management not only heard but supported my transition into another department. 

This is an environment that works with you. They recognize and celebrate your strengths. While also challenging you to build on the areas that can improve. In less than a year of being with Freightcom, I can undoubtably say they are stuck with me!

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is a lot of opportunity for growth both monetary and career wise. There are often competitions with a prize. BC is a small, close-knit team and you can always count on someone to help you. This is a place where you can be heard and appreciated while making good money. All in all, I highly recommend. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Beginning targets are extremely easy. As the years go on it becomes more and more aggressive but it’s based on your growth year over year so it is always attainable. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Amazing. 10/10
Each team differs surely, but BC is close-knit and we actively support each other day after day. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Cold calls & account management.

As a contributor in a full-cycle sales environment, I am able to structure my day however I like. 

I have the autonomy to close deals and businesses that I see fit - and I am treated very well within the framework (so long as I continue to put points on the board).

The commission structure is quite lucrative for someone with the confidence in their own ability to generate and take ownership for their own pipeline.

Freightcom is and continues to be a great product to sell - which is the #1 thing a sales person should look for.

The company lived up to all their promises to me during my initial interview process.

Pros

Freightcom is a place to work that has been a game changer from day one. I have to say if you want one word to describe the work and environment is innovative. They are creating technology from the ground up and adapting with the moving technological landscape. Management is always aware of an individuals skills. If someone is doing a great job, this is recognized and they are promoted and even recommended for other areas in the company where their skills would be of benefit to the company and the employee’s growth.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that you will never want to leave :-)

Pros: young team, nice vibe in the beginning, new facility
Cons: they want the moon and the stars from you but won't pay you more than most factory workers. They expect you in on time, stay late, and be there when needed. BUT will not throw you a bone when you need one. Management is all family and super unprofessional when an issue arises. They will yell at you and call you names. I left an amazing job with higher pay and great team members and boss to come work here because they offered an onsite gym (which turns out only management can use), and a pool room (which only management and sales can use). Don't give up something good to end up in their lies.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Truly uncapped growth with the leading freight forwarder in the country. I also enjoy how I’m forced to grow daily. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with clients emotions, but that’s nothin new in AE roles with recurring business.

Prospecting, cold calls, brief account management, and other demos and meetings to bring in business

I have been with Freightcom for over 5 years. I have seen rapid growth within the company throughout that time. Freightcom offers a great environment to learn and develop skills valuable to any workplace. There are lots of opportunities to grow within the company across different roles. The management team cultivates personal relationships with the staff and ensures that they are equipped with what is needed to succeed. There is a great company culture and a good group of people working at Freightcom with a shared mindset of growth and development.

I have been working at Freightcom for 6 months, one of the best companies i have worked for. 
The management is very helpful and they treat you like a family member. They are willing to answer your questions at anytime. The manager and the Vice President will sit with you and discuss about your week at work. They will ask you for the suggestion if anything needs to be improved. 
The management is very friendly and treat you like a family member. The President would come and sit with you and bond with you. I am looking to grow with the company as there are many opportunities.
