You will get essentially no information given to you as a "Full Stack Developer" your job will be to come up with solutions based on 5-10 minutes conversations. You will get nothing written down within their own Asuna ticketing system apart from blank tasks with titles

Will most likely experience your first 1 on 1 after a month where your "team work" skills will get criticized based off the fact that your "IT Manager" held a random pop up meeting within the room you and your co-workers are in. Mind you it was only about a week of being in the same room after a month of being there.

You will be given blank tasks, where there after your manager will go on vacation and tell you to email someone else who, yup, you've guessed it is also on vacation or your co-worker beside you that had a 20 minute conversations with your manager about and he wont remember a darn thing.

Yeah sure the environment is friendly, but you will most likely be left out to dry by your own manager as he is basically non existent within the whole process itself, no information, no leadership, no goals, its all basically there. Enjoy being a backup to a support systems with literally 0 information and 2 people that refuse to teach or guide you on their "support" systems. 

Oh and if they are able to get your system fully going which means getting 1 account from a company they use before the end of the first month.....



.......MANAGING IS NOT A HOBBY, BUT A FULL-TIME (AND BEYOND) COMMITMENT. FOLLOWING THROUGH AFTER ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE MADE REMAINS VIRTUALLY NON-EXISTENT, I.E. TRAINING, EQUIPMENT, SAFE WORK AND ENVIRONMENT, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ETC. 
HIGHLIGHTING NEGATIVITY MORE THAN POSITIVITY THROUGHOUT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW PROGRAMME IS CONTRARY TO BOOSTING MORALE. WORKDAYS ARE CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE, MINUTES BEFORE LEAVING HOME. 

- no obvious sign of an increase in pay
- poor quality of work receiving the same compensation as excellent performance 
- no PAID sick days
- no performance reviews - pointless really for there are no opportunities for advancement 
- no staff meetings; after the first and only one at the start
- no uniform - whilst interacting with the public on a daily basis - resulting in a poor representation factor and ambassadorship especially running a new programme trying to gain traction and momentum 
- hourly "starting" wage - a positive
- benefits - another positive 
- recognizing employees' birthdays is a big positive in my books
- quantity over quality sums it up
- the above is to be considered constructive feedback only (public yes) for it wasn't heard while employed.

EVIDENTLY, GOOD PEOPLE WILL WALK AWAY. 

Hourly wage is good to start, but then there's no raises. You train, and do more things, but get paid the same as you did on day one. Management is pretty good, overall. Unfortunately, nobody really backs you up when the general public mistreats you. They tell you to call enforcement services, and enforcement services shows up and does basically nothing. Every. Single. Time. Benefits are okay, but could be better.

I have always enjoyed certain aspects of this job such as when you come in to work there is already a plan set out for the day. It is a very team oriented environment. Have built strong relationships with certain team members. The hardest part of the job would be the repetitive aspect of the job. Also being stationary for 8 hours a day is not an ideal situation for myself. I like the balance of getting to move around, but also sit and get all and any task done.

I will not be returning to work at this firm.  The corporate culture was not positive.  The management and ownership have very low visibility when needed.  When you have problems, you cannot count on management nor the RCMP to help you out.  While the ability to customize a shift is nice, my personal security led me to leave this company.

Preparing court packages for trial, maintaining good client relationships daily, liaising between court houses and crown offices Alberta wide. Keeping peace officers up to date for their scheduled court dates and trials. Very luck to have great co-workers everyday.

No designated lunch room; had to eat at desk while working, leaving no opportunity for a proper break.

Management culture was poor and unsupportive.

Lack of diversity within the workplace.

While everyone works through their lunch breaks the owners think no one's working hard enough. Toxic environment where going above and beyond gets no reward or recognition. 

Company has been good for me.  I enjoy the people I work with and the hours are flexible to suit your life requirements.

Only con, no luck room or place to escape your work space, unless you want to go sit in. your vehicle

Global Traffic was a great place to work, people were amazing, work was spread out evenly, management was very professional, overall Global Traffic Group is a great place to work and definitely would go back.
