Group Marketing International

The people working at Group Marketing International are extremely nice and helpful! The supervisors have a nice way of communicating with the staff and are very flexible according to the schedules for those who have other jobs, school or other obligations.  The working atmosphere is very enjoyable and nowhere near stressful!

The job was somewhat boring, but the work team was upbeat and the atmosphere was always positive, which definitely made things more enjoyable. 

A typical day at work was hours upon hours of typing numbers 
and filling out forms about people's magazine subscriptions. 



A very high turnover point. No insurance. No proper HR departement. They don't do any background checks when hiring. Many work norms violations. They make it very obvious that everybody is replaceable. 

Basically you go in, log into your computer exactly the time you start and start answering calls. Speaking with clients over the phone all over Canada, meeting their needs and being friendly with them. Most of the time you get back to back calls but other then that, its a great place to work.

Terrible 3rd party work, employees often missing amounts on paychecks, pay showing up days late, underpaying work... minimum wage is now 11.25 and they pay 12$/h... anyone can do better, look elsewhere.

i think thats it is ok for this company, a lot of calls because it is telehpone you know and thats it there is no real culture in this enterprise the boss is ok seems to cae about its employees but not that much and the vibe is faded

Typical call center job. Great as first job experience but nothing more. There are no benefits, possibility of advancement with adequate raise. There is not much job security. The management is very unorganized

Poor management but great people to work with. 

You can learn about the basics of customer service.

Your schedule can be flexible if you are a student

Amazing time, the people co-workers were great, the supervisers were very flexible and were very helpful. The board of directors were also very nice. Overall great experience.
