BEWARE - They are using a slightly different name to get around the negative reviews. This is an extremely stressful environment. Very low pay and required to be on call 24/7. Co-workers constantly work after hours, expect to receive emails in the middle of the night. There is an extremely high turnover, the benefits are not good at all. They asked me to write a 5 star review on several job sites 2 days into my employment. Uncomfortable meetings, and an extremely tense environment when the CEO is present. As the company is rapidly growing, some policies and programs are a work in progress; however, the leadership team has great vision and is investing substantially to address gaps and enhance the employee experience.

Their first time bringing in operations assistants to the company. Workplace culture is definitely odd. CEO daughter and step daughter both work here. Favouritism is definitely a thing. Uncomfortable to be working with the CEO step daughter as the pressure is on to make everything perfect. Lack of training and no training books were updated. when issues are addressed they are brushed to the side. When you make mistakes it’s a bigger deal than the things you brought forward. Lots of free lunches and employee events but could be better on a treatment of new employees standpoint.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Family friendly, employee kids can get interns easily, James treats people very nicely, great Christmas party, encouraging employee to improve skills,  work meals for work lately

Family friendly, safety first, sharing knowledge and experience, Friday free drinks, James listens to everyone and resolves issues

Most employees, lots of challenges and opportunity to learn.

Lack of Leadership people management. Extreme stretch targets and money over people.

Very bad, fatigue, ling hours, unreasonable expectations

Stressful, tired, pushed, lack of trust or entitlement

I find it ridiculous that people who are reviewing this company are complaining that managers don’t provide enough guidance, then turn around and say within the same sentence that they find the environment is “negative” and “overbearing”. It sounds to me like even if they did get more help, they would just jump on here and complain about being micromanaged and not trusted to do their job. Some people man, they’ll complain about anything.

I resigned after 4 weeks.
Revolving door of employees leaving. Multiple employees on stress leave.
New management and a disorganized CFO makes this job very unorganized...although I do think the new management will succeed and turn it around. The CFO is leaving so that may also help things.
Not enough pay for what you are being asked to do.
Expectation is that you are on call 24/7

Good staff, great atmosphere, and plenty of room for growth! As long as you express interest in growing within the company, your managers will fully support you in developing the skills you need. Management upkeeps employee morale by rewarding employees who take initiative. They make it easy to feel that you’re a valuable part of the team.

You really get what you put into this job. Management expects us to have the ability to handle projects independent of their assistance. What some see as a “lack of structure” is really an excellent opportunity for job autonomy. If you like making decisions for yourself and you’re self-motivated, you’ll do well.
