In 5 years, the company will be gone.

The company only values senior leadership, senior leadership pay, and senior leadership bonuses.

The leadership approach is top-down, and for the most part, the leadership is grade D executives; no intelligence, strategic thought, or forward-thinking here.  

Reorg and restructure every year going back to 2008.  EVERY YEAR!  

Three HR "leaders" actually run the company.  These “leaders” aren't the brightest or the most moral or even good functional leaders, but every year they decide who is cut and who stays throughout the organization's reorg /restructure.   

Company culture is dead.  Employees are a commodity and used until they are used up.  You are nothing more than an employee number.

The company has become extremely woke.  If you are a male, white, middle-aged, straight, or have Christian values, there is a target on your back.

There is no such thing as upward mobility.

Benefits are disappearing and no longer competitive.

They are severely out of touch with their core customers.




Beside having somewhat lower salaries, from my experience of working with them for 10 years, their capacity to allow their employees to grow and learn and experience new roles with new skills, supporting education is impecable!!!

Harley-Davidson lives their values.  Harley-Davidson's senior leadership team, when I worked there, promoted employee laughter, engagement, use of their products, involvement, career advancement.

I started out as a design engineer, then went on to be a production engnineer, manufacturing supervisor, Model Year Lead, and then finished off with being a servce operations area representative for the Asia Pacific region.

It has been impossible to find a better place to work from my perspective.

Awfully ran by the dealer principles, the female that owns it is a bimbo in a sense, works very part time and just shops in the clothing department all day. You honestly can’t take this company seriously. Terrible pay and only receive benefits after a year. Don’t be fooled by the rating on here. 

Got to love when spoiled brats are given a company owned by their father, hugely taken advantage of their opportunity and business performance would improve if they actually stepped back and maybe actually took better care of their employees.

Everyone is overworked and under paid, just so you can put a dollar in the owners pockets.

Horrible all around. Asked to do 3-4 different occupations for the pay of 0.75 of a an occupation. GM has a horrible attitude, everyone lives pay cheque to pay cheque there. No one owns a home because they cant afford to save. No one can leave because they have no money saved so they’re all trapped. Just a vicious cycle. How they want it and how they dictate control. It’s gross. The hardest part is walking through the doors in the morning and seeing everyone’s fake smiles. Most enjoyable is when your shift ends.  

Just not what a place of work should be. Especially, the infamous Harley Davidson!!
The hardest working are taken advantage of. They do NOT advance within the company even after they tell you they do! Unfortunately, management lies to people ( staff and customers) in front of you. Do not care about employees well being. Stressful due to lack of communication. Different rules for different staff. Completely Mismanaged. Training is terrible, if there was any. Money is the only concern! Want you to make money but the Pay is terrible!  


Harley has moved to the big box store mentality. Higher profits, lower quality and declining customer service regardless of where you walk into a dealer. Mom and pop shops where they would do whatever it takes to get you on the road are no longer existent. Harley is oblivious to their customer base and demographic. Upper management clueless on direction. High expectations. Little done to help you reach goals. Constantly changing and reacting to their last horrible decision. Electric bike, glad that team was shot

What is the best part of working at the company?
the atmosphere, the vibe, and the people are all super friendly!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
sometimes the customers know what they want a little too much.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's awesome, good music is on the whole time and everyone has a smile on ther face.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Generally there is a bit of goofing around but still quite professional. definitely a good atmosphere.

most days were fine, but if you could be blamed for something, you were. if there is an issue, they never speak with you about it, they just hold it against you
understaffed - made lunch breaks difficult to get through. Summer time, expect to be stuck at store for up to 2 hours after closing when busy, and not get a lunch break at all. Requesting time off is a pain, they don't like to give it you.

Very interesting workplace, get the opportunity to meet new groups of people and get to help with the special events which offer perks to employees.
Hours are not guaranteed no matter how long you've been there.
Management is incredibly hard to get ahold of and will very rarely communicate with you or respond to emails. 
There is no way to advance in this work environment and no appreciation for any employees whatsoever.

The owners wife is not nice she bullies people.Doesnt care about staff or the people that come there unless they are of christen faith she is .She acts like it’s a religious store no clowns or sadistic shirts of any kind.She takes the fun out of the work .The job was great they just need to keep the wife out go back to teaching your not good for business
