ndeed has been a real treat so far. The interview process was thorough, with 8 different meetings over a month. This gave me time to understand the role and the company and to meet prospective colleagues. I appreciated that they took this seriously.

Onboarding was very impressive, with all new starters flown to the EMEA HQ in Dublin for their first morning.

You have the latest MacBook when you start and all the tools you need to collaborate effectively with colleagues around the world.

The culture is inclusive and friendly, with a great deal of energy around the company's mission and the extremely impressive growth Indeed is going through.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Stay away from this abusive work place. Whatever you do they will still find a single mistake fired you anytime and toxic work environment 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Verbal abuse and their toxic behaviour 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Nothing they don’t respect you they don’t want you to learn in a proper way 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Nothing. Everyday when you do your best they are still not happy instead they will insult you or verbal abuse

Some workers believe they are part of the management, while they’re literally nobody, sometimes they are just rude or talking trash behind your back for literally no reason. 

There are some amazing workers there. Clients are always friendly and polite. 
Great place to gain experience in fine dining.

Overall, great experience. It would have been even better if they stoped being cheap understaffing busy nights. Most of the problems there are related to unbalanced tasks and priorities. If they divided better the sections and task of the restaurant, most of the people would not feel overwhelmed, and cause trouble. 

Great and kind management.  Half of the employees were very friendly and helpful, but the other half were SO RUDE that you wouldn't even believe how rude!!!!  I walked out of my shift twice because of my fellow employees, it's how rude!!!  And then I just quit in the middle of the shift!!  That's how bad it is!  I only put up with it a little over a month!  The customers were WONDERFUL!!!  No complaints about anything, it's only the half employees that were terrible!!!

10 people left the job with in my few months there.  All 10 were from all positions (including 2 management). They clearly have a niche market of who will actually enjoy/stay working there.  They have a mould and it works for them. So conform or save yourself the stress. 

Pay is mediocre, typical of the industry. You can make the argument that their expensive food doesn't reflect mediocre wages. 


A typical day at Hawksworth is fast-paced, with a focus on quality and customer experience. I’ve learned to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards. The management is supportive, and the team feels like a family. The most enjoyable part is the rewarding feeling of delivering exceptional service and seeing guests leave happy.

High stress environment when it doesn't need to be. Abused mentally if you don't follow there rules. Lack of leadership and mentorship, I came here thinking I would learn lots and work with the chefs. I was so far wrong. A very big let down if you are looking to forward your career.

They supply all the tools for you to grow as a service professional. From menu tastings to wine and spirit seminars. A classic restaurant culture of true professionals!

High standard of service. Everyone was very friendly and encouraging. Great work environment created by management. Very rewarding place to work. I was only there for a short period of time and was made feel very welcome.

Hawksworth is massive operation with many parts required to make the wheel turn. Great members of the team make the hard work enjoyable. Also one of the most reputable restaurants in the country.
