- A raise(s) is likely but this is capped but you will not be told this

Cons: 
- Very busy: management will push your boundaries as you will continue to receive an increased workload despite voicing that you are overwhelmed since the workplace culture glamourizes being overworked and management's response is "everybody is overwhelmed" 
- No formal training or clear instructions, you will not receive an orientation or formal training as management makes other coworkers train you leading to a lack of consistency and confusion on processes and procedures, chance are that you won't be aware if you've made a mistake until it's too late to undo it and management will blame you for the mistake; if you ask a manager for clarification you will get one answer from one manager and then a completely different answer from another manager - very disorganized!
- Above mentioned raise(s) occur due to the high turn over rate - when an employee(s) leave, remaining employees are expected to take on extra tasks to compensate on a short term or more likely, long term basis
- No work from home/hybrid opportunities, if you ask you for the opportunity for hybrid work or to work from home, you will be given round about answers as to why this is not an option, despite the company having the resources to do so and if your tasks can be completed from home; only certain employees are provided this opportunity and you are not given an explanation for why those certain employees are allowed the opportunity 
- Annual Reviews/concerns will not be taken seriously, the company asks you to complete an annual review of your progress/performance and the workplace but makes no efforts to implement any changes for the following year, your review will be discussed briefly as an attempt to seem like a legitimate review and will be filed away into the abyss, an example of this would be the manual on processes and procedures that employees have asked for so we can better do our jobs and still one does not exist - employees have been asking for this manual for multiple years
- Shared phone responsibilities: the company does not have a receptionist so all employees are responsible for answering any incoming calls on the main line while management is loud or often yelling during business hours despite having their employees on the phones with clients
- Management makes no effort to hide favoritism and nepotism: it is a family run business of 3 people - the owner and her 2 nieces, there is often no other manager on site who will speak up for the employees and if you have any concerns about these managers and inform HR, the HR rep will relay this to said managers and do whatever is instructed by the same managers

I have been working at Health Bound for one year as an OT. I love my job, the team of OTs and the management are a pleasure to work with and very supportive. There is a lot of diversity in clients/conditions that I treat, from mental health to complex fractures, to brain injury or spinal cord injury I find that I am always learning something new and developing my skills as a clinician. The company provides training and education on various topics related to the role of OT and supports you to take courses and training in areas of your interest. Also, it was a HUGE advantage to have supervisors who are involved with your training and are available for you when you have questions. 

I have been employed at Health Bound Health Network for the past 3 years both full-time and part-time as an administrative assistant. The company provided me with thorough training at the beginning of my occupation, in addition to guidance during any major changes happening with the company (e.g. the company changed locations in 2019). Health Bound has also shown an interest in my career, as the company offered a project which is significantly tied with my career as an industrial engineer. The staff is incredibly friendly, providing every employee with an enjoyable shift at work.

I was hired as a new grad OT and it was an amazing opportunity to develop my clinical skills and strengthen knowledge around a plethora of client populations. The company culture is amazing. The team you work with are great people. The company provided extensive weekly trainings on many topics and my supervisors were willing to provide support anytime I requested it. The staff genuinely are there to support you and this company really gave me the skills needed to feel competent as a clinician. 

The management are caring and easy to communicate with. I was provided with training and on-boarding from a supervisor and had access to her if any questions came up. There are annual training days where the clinical team gets trained by industry leaders on topics relevant to working in the community. The work environment is professional and friendly.

I have been an OT at Health Bound for approximately 3 years. I enjoy my job, feel very supported by the leadership and have had different training and educational opportunities through my time here. The scope of OT is great as I get to see clients from orthopaedic to neurological injuries which ensures that I’m always learning and developing my clinical skills.  

This is a great opportunity for any new OT grad that is looking to work in the private/MVA sector. The management team is super approachable and provides great opportunities for mentorship and training. They offer a gradual development of a full caseload that feels manageable and supported. Overall a stellar OT team!

Excellent workplace, providing competitive compensation, including onboarding and professional training programs. It is a great team, working in collaboration, and will be able to help you accomplish your goals.

Such a great place to work, its an amazing company that will definitely keep you busy. The staff and management are always there to help you and are a pleasure to work with. Great locations too!

Typical day was very slow. Work was mostly checking up on status and doing easy tasks to update a file. I only had 1 supervisor and she was very nice. She wanted to handle most of the work.
