A planned workday can take a sudden and drastic shift to a necessary response to an emergency (or two). This can create additional stress and work in rearranging one's schedule over the next few days (at least).
This is just a fact of life in any healthcare service business and one which prospects should be aware of.
Coworkers here are generally supportive and will help out when they can. 
Occasionally, working into the later afternoon or evening may be necessary, but this can be minimized to a degree with planning. 
Management has also been very approachable and open to assist with problems or hear new ideas.
Overall, a better place to work than MANY others. Just be on guard against the stress!

You some times get to enjoy a team atmosphere and occasionally get to hear the manager say good job. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You are always under the gun. They don’t ever have a enough production staff for the amount of work that needs to be completed and 4 days out of five you will always finish after 6pm

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It used to be great but has now been almost extinct. Used to have team members enjoy their work and surroundings, there was BBQ.lunches, pot lucks pizza days at least once a month and now the manager thinks it’s not needed so maybe once every 6 months if your lucky.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful rushed full of “you are making too many errors “ well no duh way too much pressure to get the work done with not enough staff. Very little to no positive feed back or encouragement

I mainly operated forklifts to perform picking and packing, replenishments, cycle counts, and sweeps with the RF gun. Fun and exciting atmosphere. Co-workers are great - they hired good character people who cares about their job. I learned practically all operational procedures. The most enjoyable part of the job is putting my mind into my job duties to achieve 100% accuracy!

The only problem is management: Manager doesn't effectively supervise the Supervisor, who is incompetent, fails to help out operation when needed, and doesn't understand the operation.

The Team is incredible. Particularly the leadership team, they are supportive of professional development, career growth and advancement. If you are willing to put in the work, you will be recognized.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment changes based on location. The corporate head office is inviting. The entire team is supportive and friendly. You really can be your authentic self.

The average raise rate is thirty cents a year, they expect blood and sweat but in return give nothing but pizza parties. Management is in their own little bubble and Human Resources are their puppets. Their excuse for the terrible pay rates are a “climate controlled warehouse and steady hours”.  Well to pay five dollars an hour under industry standard isn’t worth some A/C and a daily 7:30pm finish time. If you are considering working here, please for your own good, find something else.  I was here for almost three years, w

Management is clueless and the higher in command you go the worse it gets. They have no clue what is going on in the company or the industry for that matter. The employees are great for the most part best thing about working here. Can be stressful and busy with lots of deadlines but, the pay scales are generally very good and some good benefits. If you work hard and ignore all the bs you will do well here. Just like any other job, there are lazy people and very productive people. Choose wisely.

Very stress full working here ,Supervisor always pointing out mistakes to everyone 
rushed environment, not enough staff to fill orders people get hired then quit next day, very high turn over plus your shift starts at 930 am and ends sometime after 6 or 7 pm or later the job details is not hard but management need to deal with hiring more staff and stop pointing fingers on peoples mistakes like 5 to 7 times a day not how you get production,

I learned to build strong leadership skills and learned all aspects of the operations in a short period of time. I learned to pick and pack, service forklifts, cycle counts, done putaways, and sweeps. Upon hiring me, in a short period of time, we achieved same day receiving, same day delivery, and same day putaways at 100.00% accuracy. Chairman Stan Bergman flew to Calgary to do a presentation about the corporation.

The hardest part of this workplace job is trying to understand exactly what the management staff saying two different things.We were not allowed to ask how a co-worker was feeling after they were ill, only allowed to say Good Morning or see you tomorrow.
Every two months we had a pot luck lunch and were able to try new foods from other nationalities which was very enjoyable.

I was on the road 95% of the time during my tenure, but it was always a pleasant atmosphere at the office whenever I was there  I worked completely un-supervised, therefore I only dealt with management once a year ( budget forecast). Co-workers were very respectful . Most enjoyable part of the job-Making the big sale !
