Working as a therapist at the Clinic has been an incredibly enriching experience. I’ve learned that being in an environment that truly supports what you do can make all the difference. As a mental health therapist it has been fantastic to join a talented and compassionate interdisciplinary team at HIHF.  The culture of the office space emanates from the professionals who work there as a result of a beautiful space/environment, strong leadership, and the ability for each professional to work to the best of their abilities.  The team at HIHF truly cares about the community and the individuals they support on their respective health journeys.  

I love my work as a therapist and I am delighted that I get to connect with other professionals who also love their work at HIHF.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The clients were the best part of working for this company. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Underlying social pressure to conform to the values of some but not the values of all. Not feeling validated as a person with the right to individual beliefs. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Coworkers were lovely people. Enjoyed them all 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Difficult to get enough hours, over hiring therapists, good client spacing and time for soap notes.

I was hired because my values align with those of the clinics. Pretty standard stuff. Treat others well! 
Managers are great, and do their best to make sure I understand everything. They are very available to answer any questions I have along the way, too. They are flexible and friendly and fun. 
Everything is as I expected. I was hired for specific shifts, and knew that going in. But I’ve also been offered more hours along the way. 

HIHF is a wonderful place to work. The staff is kind and caring.
The folks who work here truly care about the people coming in and want the best for all their customers and staff. 
Management if accommodating to scheduling and very good to work for.
Overall a really great place to work.

Great multi-practitioner setting that is team and client oriented. Although the specialization is in fertility and prenatal/post-natal clients, no one is turned away and all are given quality and personalized care.

I worked here for maybe a week then decided to quit. They are very demanding, one of the managers is pretty up tight and rude. They expect so much from you while paying you almost nothing. Do yourself a favour and move on. 

Was trained very well, always welcomed with kindness, just an overall sense of community and trust in one another. One of the best places I have ever worked.
