Working here gives you almost no benefits, while asking for an over-excessive amount of work done to maintain your store as an individual.

Teammates and supervisors will either be new or sketchy with sales leaving no opportunities to learn and grow, also while having no room to move to different jobs within the company.

They promote scummy sales tactics due to being a "dealer" and not officially with the company they are affiliated with just to get more money for the company and the upper management do not care about their employees.

Stores are expected to be maintained in good standing but the company is minimal and cheap on the supplies necessary to run the store, telling managers to bring supplies on their own time while neglecting spending money on stocking of store supplies for employee necessity.

Most of the employees that are brought on are at the cheapest rates, usually targeting newcomers and ex-corporate employees only to overwork the role with no additional pay benefits such as overtime while expecting individuals to come in 30 minutes early or 30 minutes later.

Micromanagement from higher positions also add into the stress of working as they tend to attempt to monitor every employee working. Also listening in to every store as they prefer to have audio surveillance within the retail storefront.

Extra work is also expected of every employee during their time off with no additional payments or benefits to doing so.

Imagine wireless promise high commission to make up for the fact that they refuse to pay more than minimum wage no matter how long you’ve been there. What they don’t tell you is that if you don’t hit at least 30 sales a month to get a decent commission increase (which is nearly impossible to achieve at their slow locations because there are way too many full time staff), you’re barely making $4 per sale. So you will not make more than minimum wage. .

The upper management is very rude and unprofessional, they like to micro manage quite a bit and it feels like you are monitored 24/7. Unlike corporate Rogers stores, the managers here are also on commission, so they couldn’t care less about helping you grow, they only look out for themselves, a few days prior to my last day one of the managers that was just hired straight up said “I'll be taking all of the sales here and nobody better get in my way…” not a great first impression. None of the management that they hire have any clue on how Rogers systems work, so they rely on ex-corporate employees to train their staff, including the managers themselves.

They install audio recording equipment in the store to listen in on employees as well. 

If you aren't a “yes man” they will purposely look for reasons to get you out. They also expect you to go out of your way on your days off to “advertise the store” to drive more traffic in at no additional pay.  I had worked at corporate Rogers for years and during my tenure there I had 0 issues or any unnecessary stress, but having been here for a month i had to get out.

Working at Imagine Wireless has truly been an incredible experience. As a retail store manager, I’ve had the privilege of being part of a company that not only values its employees but actively supports their growth and well-being.

Great company to work for and very flexible with the teams schedules.  The incentives are great although the pay is minimal.  Management at the corporate level is outstanding yet the some  
stores are questionable.  The district manager is down to earth, sincere, and really cares about his teams. He will work with you to help you get where you want to get to and will coach you to develop the skills you need.  Unfortunately some of the managers lack professionalism and show favoritism.  They will act like dictators and break the rules even though no one else is allowed to.  Management in the company should be looked at very closely and they should make some changes.

Imagine Wireless is such a great company to work for. The growth in the company is always a priority of the top management and they always support and thrive you to do better in your job role. 
Work culture among the stores is fun and interactive, it never feels like you cannot reach to any of your peers or even anyone from the senior management.  Working here challenges you always to do more in sales and your management also comes and helps you deliver stock if need be in urgency to accommodate the staff with proper inventory and keep the customer experience top notch.

I was a Corporate Account representative at Imagine Wireless. Where to start, wow. The management structure is corrupt. Minus the manager that never directly managed me the pressure was always on. Never keeping to their word, they blame you for lack of performance when they tell you to do certain things before we are “acceptable” to meet with clients etc. Lies and shady behaviour is what keeps you employed. One of the worst structures of company I’ve worked for ever.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good people. Working here is less stressful than my previous job. Commission is good as well.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being in a street front location safety is stressful sometimes but management has provided enough safety measures to make sure we are always safe.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good people management is supportive and everyone works here like a family

I enjoyed my time working at Imagine Wireless. The culture was so good and they really value you as an employee. Management provided me with the best support I could ask for. 

There is a lot to learn and you can make a lot of money in sales. Your job is secure here by doing what you need to and working hard. Put your head down and work hard.
