Though the branch level management is well equipped and fair, the ownership is another story. On countless occasions staff intelligence is questions and criticized during open conversation among all staff meetings. The Own/manager for sales is like a little boy who didnt get  his way when he wanted ice-cream. Is not invested in his family business but likes to sit in the big chair. Over bearing, Micromanagement and what you bring is never enough. Close 1mil in one week and they forgot about that sale before the paperwork is even completed. Emails that include swears and threats from ownership. Not a good environment and not set up for staff to succeed. They even cancelled only the Alberta staff Christmas party. Moral = 0.

A family owned company with a business model as old as the hills. I worked there long enough to observe a lack of leadership and ethics. They go through sales people like Kleenex and never think twice about it. They have no computer systems to support the complex sales process and expect you to figure it out with ZERO training. Their sales targets are extremely inflated and you are constantly reminded how dispensable you are. I would not recommend working here unless you are looking for a dismal and unfulfilling experience. The other staff are nice enough but morale is so low everyone is uneasy about their job security. This is a perfect example of how a company should NOT be run. It's all about intimidation and pressure and most times you are set up for failure. Steer clear of this one.

The best part was to get into industry or to gain necessary experience.

If you are woman or person who wants to be recognized and treated with dignity better to skip it. They don`t try to help you to improve yourself it`s more to put you down in every way.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Most of the days are busy but you still have certain times when you can breath in and breath out.

A very disturbing culture of using sales people to bring in new business then firing them and handing over the business they brought in to the next new person. This is a company that enforces unattainable sales targets and constantly reminds you that your time is running out. The sales manager gives little direction and does not believe in working as a team. You are on your own and if you do not bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of business from day one, you are on their hit list. Avoid this place at all costs.

The company is a good place to work.  There is a good work culture and care for the employees who work there.  In spite of the difficult challenges of event schedules, the company tries to ensure a reasonable work-life balance. There is also a good culture for learning and growing with more seasoned technicians being able to pass along their experience to the next upcoming candidates.  Generally a positive workplace.

Very happy until covid 19 hit, lost my job. Company does not have a pension plan, something I was after since I started .
Solid company and lots of staff with a wealth of information relating to our industry. 

The owners take no accountability at all. They could put in pretty easy changes to run business well but do not, however they expect staff to deliver more anyway. Simply bad businessmen. Training non-existent. I am surprised they are still in business.

I found that it was an unprofessional environment where everyone spoke poorly of each other, there was a very high turn over.

There was alot of tension between the different departments.

There are many pros and cons to working here. If you like technology and are interested in sound its right for you. If you are expecting to advance threw the company fond somewhere else to work.

Great place to work. The environment at this work place is awesome always enjoy going to work. Fast paced environment with a lot to learn. This job really allows you to strive and shoow your skills
