Working at Jones Healthcare Group has been a genuinely rewarding experience. It’s rare to find a company that combines the stability of a more than 100-year-old family business with the innovation and reach of a global partner, but Jones manages to do both exceptionally well. One of the things that impressed me from the start is how many colleagues have been with the company for decades. That level of loyalty speaks volumes about the culture and leadership.

At the same time, Jones continually welcomes new Canadians and professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, creating a diverse, friendly, and collaborative environment at every level. I also appreciate the balance of male and female leadership across the organization — it shows a real commitment to equality and to giving people the opportunity to grow.

Every day brings new challenges and chances to innovate, and I find myself genuinely excited to come to work. Jones is the type of place where your ideas matter, your work is valued, and you feel part of something meaningful.

A workday is very diverse, depending on the projects we work on in the team. I feel like I learn a lot, both in terms of knowledge because I'm exposed to different topics, and also when it comes to teamwork. In my team, we have different ways of thinking, and we complement each other in that sense. My leader is truly inspirational, and I learn a lot from him in the way he leads the team.

I love how diverse the employees are. There are many people from different countries, and it’s nice to learn about our different cultures, foods, ways of thinking, and even festivals. Everyone is very kind. I believe this attitude comes from the owners; they are very friendly and greet and talk with everyone, from new hires to people who have been with the company for a long time.

The hardest part, I think, was adapting to the pace of some of the company’s processes. The most enjoyable part, though, is having the flexibility to work remotely, while also being able to go to the office and be with such wonderful people.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Making sure the products are correct at a fast pace as well as the other people you work with can be nice or really mean

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment can be very good but also very bad depending on who you are working with. For example on my last day I was told by a co-worker that I was the worst person on earth. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I would feed the machine and pack the products that came out at the end.

Lot of things to learn about supply chain management . Good inviting work environment with a great staff. I was a picking and packing warehouse associate with very little experience, but very helpful people. The team made me learn everything in less than a week with their guidance . The Shift timings were good and the pay was perfect for me as a part time summer student job that gave me enough time to balance for myself. Since the people in the warehouse were so good, it was fun working there and never felt like taking an off day. Awesome working and learning here!

jones packaging is a clean big warehouse where you will work in various areas either packaging or labeling or working on an assembly line working at jones was an ok experience for me i got to learn new things an meet new people people are nice an the jobs are not hard machines tho are constantly needing repair from breaking down an sometimes you will be sent home half a day for weeks then brought back this is not a stable job

The leadership of the marketing team at Jones makes success impossible. Enthusiasm and talent will be driven out by unrealistic expectations and constantly shifting targets for performance. There is no respect for work-life balance and the pay is well below market. There is little reason to remain in the role longer than it takes to find another. 

Easy work for great pay. People that work there were miserable, showing up late, verbal abuse, a lot of behind the back talks, Management didn't care about new employees and protect older ones. Operators picked own hours instead of scheduled hours, which would affect others personal lives.

I actually quit my job because the ownership was totally clueless on their supervisor’s inability to work with the employees. Work life balance was atrocious and if you didn’t go along with what they asked of you, you were labeled insubordinate. I kept getting told if I don’t like it here I could quit, and I did. 

Really enjoyed Jones Packaging as it was an entertaining and fun place to work and my co workers were awesome group of people. It was a full 8 hour day with many breaks in between and constant change in activities. I learned so much about the box industry and what goes in to making a perfect product.

Over a 25 year span I worked in many different capacities.

I had learned all aspects of the printing industry including production, cost estimating and product development.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the people I had worked with over the years.
