Kudu industries

My work consisted of producing the materials required from many work orders that I received on a daily basis. The management is very good to the workers as it provided us all the necessary items for all of us. We are paid well and we were happy especially when bonuses were given to us twice or thrice per year.  My co-workers were all kind and helpful. The hardest part of the work is if I ran out of materials that were needed as I need to search for scrap materials that I can utilize to cut. Also, we during the work operation, the machine will have a blade failure that I need to replace right away to avoid delays. The most enjoyable of my work is every time I finished the work ahead of time, I could do more.

Shipping and receiving is done on a particular day. Management shows interest in employees. I learn to ship merchandise to various locations in Western Canada. Coworkers were quite cooperative and understanding. The hardest part of the job was  cataloguing and shelving merchandise and the most enjoyable part was seeing the shipments transported  to the correct location.

It was good Company before transfer almost 98% of Machinist job
to china for more benefit. Working at Kudu was fun. All co workers
were like a family.Day by day everybody was learning more, new knowledge and experience.Management was okay .There was not
hardest part of the job for me ,and in one word working in Kudu was enjoyable.

Good place to work in terms of learning in the field or oil in general, unstable management. Company has good benefits plan for you, everyday can be different day, next thing you know is your layoff because someone in high rank needs his brother to be hired

What made it awful to work here was upper management. No training, no support, no guidance. If you screw up, you're an idiot. If they screw up, you're an idiot. 

The only good thing about this place was the pay.

They preach "family environment" but will drop you in an instant when they are not profitable. Stay away from this company.

I work with positive people, they offer in-house training on customer service, and self improvement through SAIT. Process and goal oriented company with structures. They offer great benefits to their employees.

I want to grow in my trade with a company and finish my last two blocks to be certified. I enjoyed the people I worked with at camp never minded the long days nights or the weeks spent at camp. leaned alot and gained lots of experience as well

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing,  managers steal and lie and belittle you. Nothing gets done about it. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Toxic management,  nothing gets done about them.

Good company to work for with awesome benefits package. Easy and laid back management.  Company credit card that you can use for meal every time you have field work.

Kudu Industries was a great company with a family atmosphere. The original founders of KUDU focused on growth while keeping their employees in mind through training and advancement. Schlumberger purchased KUDU in 2014.
