Old people call us wondering where their taxi is. Taxi's stopped answering Line One because we are annoying to them. Line One's policy is to keep trying until hopefully the customer hangs up and goes away. Phone calls with one customer can last as long as an hour just calling the same dead line. I had to go my separate way because whoever handles the policies at Line One could not be worse at their job if they physically tried. They pay was not worth the work and you wont know your schedule until a few days before the work week starts. The worst part was the job was doable and perhaps even enjoyable when the incompetency of management did not cripple your day to day work.   

What is the best part of working at the company?
The tech support staff are friendly and fantastic.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Micro-managing and the ‘leaders’ could benefit from some  leadership mentorship/training.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A fun work environment with great tech support. The only down side is that the ‘leaders’ are not always pleasant or approachable & there is an element of micromanaging. Other than this it is enjoyable work.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lots of calls to answer- and is interesting and rewarding work.

Great place to work... It's great to be able to work from home and enjoy the comforts of home. Especially in this time with covid and everything else going on it's nice to know that you have a secure job.  They are very great about training and answering  any question that you may have.  There is also an on going chats that connect you with other agents and being able to connect to people to awnser your questions.  Schedules come out weekly and it is easy to change or trade or drop your shift. (Or picking up shifts as well)  

Was not a bad place to work starting out. A lot of promises made for advancement and many gratuities promised but never made good on. You can only advance so far and then they let you go once you are on the higher end of the pay scale. They tended to give everyone second chances and the hours are insane. I worked continuously for over 60 days before I could have a day off and forget about the holidays. You were them all, unless your on the higher end of the management chain. 

I was flat out lied to when I got this job. I was told that the job would be at least 2 months which was a lie. It was less than 2 months. I was also told that I would be told about future projects after the project I did ended which was another lie. The pay isn’t isn’t horrible, it’s what you’d expect for this type of job. I liked the role itself, but there is a lot of deception in this company just to hire people. Not worth it if you have a family to take care of seeing as it’s not full-time or permanent.

For your own sake, stay away from this company. The supervisors play favourites, and the job is not explained properly. They will pressure if you don’t understand something, and will terminate with no reason at all. You may think you found an amazing job opportunity but they only see you as a number. They can add/Remove you at any given time without any notice and valid reason I insist. Sign the contract at your own risk.

typical day would be going through emails and responding accordingly. Then go through my to do list and start with most important until they are all complete. Management are a good group just need to learn a little more. Most enjoyable part was the work itself I loved helping mold the company into what it is today

Telephone guidance from Supervisor, working night shift and Supervisor came on a 6 am.  Hours were not good and translation to Europe was too much.  
Customer was  available only by  escelating  problems to higher buraucracy.
 Call centre was on cloud and often failed at login level.

I enjoyed working there it was a great place loved working there. Good employer, not overburdened the employees.will recommended for newcomers starting in Canada. Customer experience

I learned to really love this job. But it’s always just temporary. Pay is good for some people in canada (it’s remote), but if you live in a big city where prices for everything is higher, not so good….
