What is the best part of working at the company?
Great to interact with the patients!  Physical requirements can be demanding, but not too much to handle.  For the most part, you work alone. No one to argue with!  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The administration is in another province.  However,  they are generally very quick to respond to email or text.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very accommodating.  Super easy staff to get along with.  Like I said, all the staff are in another province, working from Winnipeg, you are a one person show.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Show up at the distribution center to load. Arrange deliveries in most efficient order. Contact the patients that you will deliver to.  Unload patient orders into residence as per requirement.

A shoot from the hip operation most days.  Although the warehouse staff is a fun loving group to work with, unfortunately they were not rewarded financially.  The amount of work expected from the warehouse was for the most part fair, but some of the other management wasn't always on the ball.  A lack of experience within some of the management was obvious, as other members of management has to back fill certain aspects of the work.  Overall, fun place to work, and if you want employment security, this is it.

Management has no appreciation for drivers and physical demands of the job. They do not care about your life outside of pushing hours and complaining about productivity. Middle management's hands are always tied until upper management makes a decision if they ever do. Customers are awful. They boast about dedicated logistics but it means customers walk all over them with no recourse. Main medical customer could care less about COVID protocols. 

It is a descent job but the pay is horrible and the labour rules don't apply to them..they have their own policies and don't care about personal or family issues  unless your the boss..the 24$/hr job is medical home delivery and is extremely physically demanding and not worth the blood and tears.they will expect more of you than they are willing to pay for.management has no idea how to take care of you if you get hurt..be sure this is the class 1 job you want..dead end job..

This is by far the most fun and relaxed job I've ever had. The work they do is extremely important and time sensitive, but the work environment and incentives, like pizza lunches and time-off, take the stressful component out of it. There's never a dull moment in this warehouse. Management likes to get to know all their employees on a personal first-name basis and they treat them with the utmost respect.

A lot of firsts here. And not good ones! The only place I have worked that hasn't given a raise after your probationary period, let alone a cost of living increase.  Old trucks/trailers /forklift s/dock plates and buildings . They expect you to work in the elements  but don't even supply a coffee machine to warm up with on the winter. They went from having one of the best benefit programs to the second worst!.  I could go on and on...

Its slip seating and the trucks are filthy. Organization of the warehouse is horrible. Not a team environment. Equipment is all broke down or held together with duct tape. Some of the deliveries are an unsanitary work environment and very heavy work load. Revolving door of box truck drivers because of the scope of work and lack of support. Hours range from coming in for 2 hours to 13. 

Landtran is a good company with excellent training, communication and support for new and senior employees. 

The only things they need to improve on are a base wage increase (this job should start at $30-$35/hr), proper wage review/increase intervals, at the very least yearly. Allow employees to bank hours, considering they only get 2 weeks holidays per year, this is quite essential. 

You will be fooled in a few months. The job is physically demanding, so if your young and in great shape, this might be a job for you. The management team is in Calgary and they have their own ideas. You will learn this is a dead end job. Management will not accommodate for simple requests and you will experience the disconnect. Don’t be fooled by the magician and his assistants. What an embarrassing experience!

Overall bad place to work, your a number not a name!

-Staff do drugs on break time
-Training - received from a temp (JOKE)
-Mananagement - favouritism and don’t care
-Coworkers - more bad apples then good
-Warehouse is so disorganized overall
-Safety- guys drive forklifts like f1 cars lol
-staff use faulty equipment

I don’t see this company being around for long
