Great atmosphere. Management is very approachable and fun to work with. 
I have had the pleasure of getting to know and work closely with some great children and their families. 
The resources that OCOF provides for our community is amazing, and feel the need to spread the word so the public is aware of what is available to them.

Register new children 
Help with getting childcare licence 
Keep files for health unit reports
Provide support and guidance to Daycare Staff
Supervise daycare staff
Communicate daily with parents 
Plan, implement and review the children’s experiences in accordance with the program’s goals
Ensure the children’s environment is healthy and safe
Help carry out the on-going operation of the organization
Handle payments from parents, give receipts and make deposits

Many opportunities for learning and growth. Fast pace but extremely rewarding and fulfilling career! Although it is not for everyone, there is nothing better than seeing the smile on a child’s face when you enter the room and sharing their excitement when learning new skills and exploring.  

It's unfortunate that Childcare workers are underappreciated by being grossly underpaid and that many think think you are "playing" all day. There are some days kids are screaming nonstop. It's frustrating when the pay doesn't match the work. Otherwise, I loved the management, the staff, the kids. I simply got another job with the same pay for much less work.

Great place to work at if you love kids and want to spend your day playing with and taking care of children. Staff is great to work with and always willing to help you with whatever you need.

This job is not for people who are stressed easily. You must be very patient and understanding. You have to like working with children. Collaboration is important. 

I was able to work in many different position sin this employment. I enjoyed having the oppurtunity t owork with different age groups. It was nice to see management apply certain care to children who were special needs and work with them. 

Management makes you feel at home. The team is great and the organization really cares about you. It is a large site with full groups but the learning opportunities are endless. They really want you to succeed. 

Great place to work. The entire team from corporate offices through all the centre's are very kind and welcoming. It very much feels like a family. It can be stressful at times but there is never a lack of support to help get through those times
