typical day of work ;
arrive at the shop for call in time, check dispatch paperwork to see the project your assigned to and then load/ offload trucks based off the need. Once all is loaded and ready, a crew of 5- 25 people will be sent out to the job site in crew vans and we will begin the move as delegated.  

learned ; 
loading / offloading as well as how to pack a truck floor to ceiling ( trailers as well ) . learned to work with a diverse group of individuals and how to diffuse aggressive situations. Developed communication skills amongst clients ( ie. emails, phone calls, and providing a daily itinerary  ) 

management ; 

Not the best , constant dispatch change ( meaning he/she was not aware of who has seniority/ what each project will need including crew and equipment etc) head general manager will say what you want to hear but wont actually follow through , and overall health and safety was not enforced accordingly in my opinion. Last but not least a general sense of " bullying" was very common 

hardest part of job ; 
 working consistent shifts of roughly 14 - 20 hours and not knowing if you will be scheduled the next day extremely early as your job dispatch can arrive anytime before 12 AM that evening 

and that brings me too the most enjoyable part of the job; 
working alongside people who understand the long hours and developing workplace friendships in order to support each other through these tough shifts . the general " family " vibe amongst the crew was the reason we toughed through all those long nights and made our clients happy

At Office Move Pro, I always arrived on time since the team depended on every member to debrief the schedule for the day. Often we had to learn new skills necessary to get the job done based on the requests of customers. That meant attention to detail was key. There was a great workplace culture and the team always worked together to be as efficient as possible. My coworkers were friendly when I started, they showed me the ropes and were patient as I quickly got up to speed. I in turn then supported other newcomers to the team and that's how we grew. The most enjoyable part of the job for me was the variety of locations and scope of the large versus the small jobs. Regardless of the size, I was always diligent to do my best every day.

The typical day is differentiated by your job title. 

Supervisors are not well respected by their managers. 
Movers are often replaceable.
Truck drivers get taken advantage of.

The company is pretty stingy with giving anyone that’s not a manger or above a raise. 

Supervisors: manage and also work just as hard as everyone, usually being over burdened. 
Movers: get the easier tasks of doing only a few things at a time and they are assigned to do and wait for instructions. 
Drivers: do a lot of driving while also doing a mover job and gets set with a lot more responsibility for only a few dollars more, but the hours are good. 

I enjoyed the typical day working at Office Move Pro because every day would be different. I would be working at a different location with a different task and various co workers. This prevented the work from becoming too stale. I learned how to work with a team and how to carry and move furniture very efficiently. The  most enjoyable part of the job was the pride I gained from finishing a move, it felt good knowing that everything was set up for a company to their satisfaction. The hardest part of the job was having co workers missing their shift, this made our crew have to work faster in order to compensate for the lack of team members.

A typical day at work involves of doing inventory of all vehicles in different lots ( chrysler, volkswagon, bmw etc). ensuring that all lots are up tp date on a weekly basis,, tuesday and thrusday we have auctions and our main duty on those specific days is to make sure all vehilcles are located, tagged and ready to be assigned into the auction.

Flexible hours and easy work
The supervisors are nice and seems to like my work ethic
i have learned that sometimes moving can be easy
we all work as a team and make work fun when appropriate
sometimes late hours or particular or unorganized clients can make the job harder. 
I like that its evening and weekends so that i can accomplish other tasks during the day

This management is ridiculously young, inexperienced and racist.
The guy who runs it is a complete fool that has no experience or even intelligence. His favourite worker is a nice English guy that he loves because of his British accent. Im not even kidding.
The drivers whistle at women and the crew is completely inexperienced. There are just a bunch of kids.

The individuals running Office Move Pro should not be in charge, to say the least. No growth opportunities, no benefits, low wage, incredibly inconsistent hours. Another company run by people who only care about themselves, and making profit for a small circle of people.

You never know what time you start the next day and you never know when the job will be finished. Could be a "4 hour mini" or it could feel like the day is not going to end. The most amount of hours in a day I worked was 22. Very hard to balance a social life if you are someone of importance there.

Loved the job itself it was a great learning experince experience but a level of respect is needed in a workplace and that simply wasn't a value at this job unfortunately.
