What is the best part of working at the company?
I was able to really make a difference in Ontario and impact people's lives

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working with limited resources. Our health care system was chronically underfunded.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its very hierarchical; however, there are some amazing leaders who really know how to lean on advisors and include the team to enable outstanding results. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I would lead projects, figure out the root of problems and work with others including partners and stakeholders to determine options to address. I would outline these as clearly and succinctly as possible and brief leaders etc. Once a decision is made, I would either work to implement or turn over to another area/lead.

Stable once you are permanent. However becoming less competitive due to current government policy limiting raises and other improvements. There can be lots of bureaucracy.

The investigations branch needs to be spread province-wide to draw from the incredible talent the ministry has to offer. Instead the bunch everyone in downtown Toronto and pull people from outside who don’t know the business as all, because they are the only ones silly enough to apply with the low wages and terrible job location.

Definitely a job that was hard for me to obtain as I have been applying for multiple years! This a great environment to work in, colleagues support one another for the most part, expectations and work routine is always fair, and they try to make sure to let their employees know they ALWAYS appreciate you

This was the worst employer I ever worked for. When managers at the floor level where bulling staff and pushing them out due to mental health issues the MOHLTC was no support. They allow there managers to treat the staff with total disrespect and you are just a number

Since working with the Ministry of Health, I have enjoyed my work and all of the people who manage us and support our initiatives and efforts.  There is clear that work-life balance is valued and accommodated,  I love my job!

Providing support to people who are Covid positive. Educating patients and family members on how to isolate without difficulties. Management provides education to staff when needed. 

Typical government work environment, stable, not that fast, respect each other, not aggressive.  Overally enjoyed my work at the company and people are nice.

The pay can be better but it was an amazing experience overall. Learned so much from the experience and the organization and it was a permanent work from home position.
