- Low key toxic workplace due to catty, passive aggressive and manipulative management that uses future faking in an attempt to persuade employees to stick around while being treated poorly. 

- Lots of negative talk about clients as well as past and present workers.

- unpredictable reactions to situations which leaves employees uncomfortable with asking questions or calling on them for situations that require Immediate or Rush attention

- Lack of social awareness: public shaming and/or public discussions regarding employees as well as personal discussions in work place areas 

- neglect in training, especially during busy periods leaving new hires learning by trial and error or at the mercy of other workers who aren't responsible for training risking new workers to learn things the wrong way or miss vital information

- Management can't handle criticism and will get very defensive and will engage in roundabout discussions full of excuses and long winded explanations to exhaust you to the point where you don't care about the issue anymore because you just want the conversation to end. Other times, they will straight up deny that something happened, that you "took it the wrong way" or that it's impossible for an individual to do or say such a thing

- Not keeping employees in the loop with important matters and daily plans (If I had a dollar for every time I heard "I wasn't in that thread") Consider using Discord for internal text conversations.

- there is an HR department, but if you're in a situation where you feel you need guidance, save yourself the time and energy and just give your notice

- Classic case of great staff, terrible management. Always a good idea to give employees proper management training when choosing someone internally

The hardest part at this job, is the subjective nature of the work.  Analysts need to be able to make extensions in logic that are based on accumulated knowledge.  New things learned in most cases, are additive to decision making.  For some making subjective decisions based on accumulated knowledge is a real challenge, despite their intelligence.  It can occasionally take up to a year for an analyst to become effective and efficient at this subjective work, any more suggests this might not be the job for you. 

Your days are full of tight deadlines, and repetitive work.  But your work is also critical and has a direct impact on the health and safety of real people in the real world, and is very rewarding as such.  Your critical thinking, conscientious nature and attention to detail are what allow you to excel in this environment.  If these are a weakness for you, this position is probably not the right fit and will probably be a stepping stone to greater successes in your future elsewhere.

The Team is very supportive, constructive and detailed. They will try to lift you up when times are tough. This is the best part.  A great Team that will give you feedback about how to improve.

After only working there for a little over 2 weeks I was let go for no reason. The majority of my work experience consisted of me spending 6-8 hours in a back room reading protocol and procedures. Nobody ever cared about actually training me. I felt so isolated and alone. I was the only person of colour so it didn’t help that I was being treated so differently then the other new employee. I was never properly trained or shown how to do anything before I was fired. So therefore, I was incredibly shocked when I was pulled into a room to be let go due to the fact that “my lack of skills” and “inability to do a job” …. Like I barely even started. Like I said I was the only person of colour working there so I can’t help but think I was let go for race reasons, especially since I was told I wasn’t a “good fit” …it really hurts that I was let go after barely being able to show case my skills and ability …and to be told that I lacked it was ultimately so dramatic for me… I would not recommend anyone I know personally to work for this company … proceed with caution! 

The work environment is challenging and often stressful. Work–life balance is poor, with high workloads and tight deadlines that make it difficult to maintain reasonable hours. Management support is limited, and employees are often expected to perform tasks without adequate guidance or resources. Training provided is insufficient, which leads to confusion and increases the risk of errors. Overall, there is significant pressure to meet expectations without the necessary support, staffing, or preparation, making the role difficult to sustain long term.

It was a great place to work, but very busy and the pay was not livable. The team for the most part was well rounded and hard working but did have some problems with work ethic at times. It felt really good doing the high quality analysis and I felt like I gained a lot of skills from the job that I have carried onto other work experience. 

I like this working place. It's a private environmental testing laboratory, which had instant business with many big accounts. The growth bussiness made the company growths also. Each position is important and significant. Thus, I felt certain kind of achievemnts at work. I did learn many skills and social skills at work. As well, the working environment and personal interaction within the company are smoothy and warmful. Our manager and HR are very approachable and welcomes questions. 

The management is truly wanting the best for you, but the reality is, production lab life is not for everyone. For those with ambition, the sky will be your limit and you can learn as much as your brain can hold. The CEO and lab directors will legitimately treat you very well if you work hard and have a good attitude. Good luck!

I did not feel supported by staff, self learning is difficult if you do not have  a permanent tutor, the owner is a gentleman who tries to be fair.

The people at Paracel Labs are easy to get along with and work with. Typically it is a fast paced work environment that requires a good work ethic from a hard worker. 
Salary is low and definitely not enough to support cost of living in today's market.

Paracel is a producitve amd fun place top work at. They main point is to keep clients happy, to get the information/results to at required date or sooner. The co-workers are all awesome and fun people to be around. I learned a lot of new intersting things involved with microbiology.
