My time with Powerbev has been a great experience so far. It is a fast paced business that is in a constant state of growth in which you get to be the face of it in the communities you service.

Some of the great things about working with this company are the culture, the people you work with and the support management offers. The culture within the company is by far one of the greatest I have seen and been a part of. I have been fortunate to be part of a close knit team that is supportive and always there for any member when it is needed. Management is always there to support and help in whichever way they can. As much as you are independent within your territory, you are very much part a big cohesive team.

The company offers a competitive base wage with plenty of opportunity to make more through sales targets and KPI objectives. Management will provide with all the tools and resources to make these attainable. With their support you will continue to hone your skills and will always be learning. 

The most rewarding thing about my position is the relationships I’ve been able to build with my clients and my team. When you provide a great service to your clients and they are happy with your service, it leaves you with a great sense of pride in your work. 

For anyone looking for a career in sales, building your own brand and being part of a big supportive team, I would most certainly recommend working at Powerbev.


Trust me, the job ad is much more appealing than the actual job. The details of the job I received were very different from the job that was expected of me.
I asked questions about the negative reviews during the interview process and was told the turnover rate wasn’t bad. I was told the specifics of what I would be doing. I was told it was a positive work environment. None of these things were true. I don’t think any of my co workers were happy to be at work any given day. 
You will be your own vehicle mechanic, inventory specialist, accountant, you will seldom work less than 8 hours on any given day you’re on the road.
On top of all of this, head office offers little support and are often condescending. Multiple tech issues went completely unsolved by IT. Complaints heard but never addressed. The excuse “we’ve been doing it this way for years” doesn’t work in todays industry when things can clearly be improved.
This is a toxic work environment, I recommend that if you have any self respect to stay clear. There isn’t a great rep amongst vendors as the sales reps often change, leaving room for growth in the customer relations department. 

My experience as a district manager at powerbev was terrible and I regret working there for six months. The job required a lot of physical labor, such as loading and unloading heavy cases of energy drinks from the truck, driving long distances across different territories, and visiting dozens of stores every day to stock and sell the product. The execs are absolutely incompetent and most likely impaired, they never gave me any constructive feedback or support, they micromanaged every aspect of my work, and they constantly pressured me to meet unrealistic sales targets that were not based on market demand or customer needs. There was no room for growth or development, they undermined my efforts and achievements, and they treated me like a disposable asset that could be replaced at any time. It's no wonder that the company went out of business, they got greedy and lost their competitive edge in the market. They did not care about their employees or their customers, only about their profits. I would not recommend working at Powerbev or coldhaus direct to anyone who values their health, happiness, and career.

Worst employment I have had, company does not care about their employees and they do not pay them well at all.

The bonus and incentive structure is designed so you are never paid out for your hard work. This happens month after month. 

Upper management is never around, I’ve worked here for over 1 year and met the sales lead 2 times. I’m fact, they do not care to even message or call sales reps back often.

The company plays favourites heavily, if you are not in the Brampton district (where head office is located) then you are not cared about and DO NOT get any of the benefits that the sales reps have in Brampton. 

Even if you bring issues to HR then nothing will happen.

Just stay away from this company. 



PowerBev is a fast-paced work environment. The work is not technical but does require people to work with passion and precision. The work is not hard, but (like almost any other careers) you have to work hard to be successful. 

Support is also very good in all fronts. If you are facing a situation, there is always someone that can help you. 

Work recognition is also very good, and they prefer promoting current employees rather than hiring externally. They have former drivers that are now in the front office, former warehouse staff that now works in IT Department, employees that came after graduating in college and is now a Director. 

If you are looking for a career, then I recommend working here. 

Working at Powerbev has afforded me the opportunity to grow as an independent sales representative. You are supplied with targets and should you meet / exceed your target, you’re given sales bonuses as not only an incentive but a reward. The sales targets are very obtainable, I have hit target or exceeded never every month I’ve worked here. 

Management has been nothing but supportive to myself and fellow coworkers and do all they can to offer assistance or support when Sales Reps need it on their route. 

The community within Powerbev is very welcoming and friendly to all new hires. People take time out of their schedules to talk to you personally - not just about work topics.  I have referred multiple people to this company, which they also love the community and environment. 

My time at Powerbev was not an enjoyable one. In this position you are often vastly overworked, expect to work 10hrs+ a day but only be paid for 8, with no overtime pay available. You job involves much more than described, as you are often working multiple positions aside from that of a typical sales rep. 

HR is absolutely no help when you’re in need. Often mental health, and other general issues are ignored or unanswered. 

In conclusion, avoid this job at all costs. You are left feeling undervalued on a daily basis. Any company with this high of a turn over rate is clearly a bad company to work for. 

This organization is one of the worst to place to work, Owners only like there so called SMT group and will pay them millions of dollar for bonus, but Normal employees will not even get $50 gift card. 

SMT is completely biased and there are favors and favoritism. Some employees gets 2 promotions with in a year where as hardworking employees has to prove themselves and still do not get any reward. Talking turtles have 4 employees reporting to them at team lead position where as managers in finance work as stand alone above and beyond the hours 
You don’t even get your vacation pay when you resign.







I am a current sales rep and I must say the job is fast paced but the support from president down to the managers is great. Company likes to hire from within so lots of room for growth along with managers understanding the day to day task a rep faces. The work culture is great and they keep you engaged with different incentives and company lunches(or breakfasts). The management team is always willing to help out and teach new "tricks of the trade" so you can be successful and efficient with the work. Overall I would say powerbev is a great place to work and build a career, I would definitely recommend.

Powerbev is definitely a company for anyone looking for a career and not just a job to pay the bills. The culture is great for anyone looking to be apart of a team that continuously grows and offers ways to move within the company. 
The managment team always supports there works in the trade and on site by providing the tools to be successful. 
They offer a competitive salary and monthly bonuses/commission/ incentives that allows you to make more than just a base rate. Would highly recommend if your someone who is a go getter and not comfortable with the bare minimum.
