1) I used to work on weekends because of my availability and ability to capture more customers for purchasing internet and home-phone.
2) I learned the credentials of how to communicate with people , how to be more interactive and impressive. I learned the key steps to be a good sales person.
3) The management was very well held by the general manager and the team lead as regularly their were group calls held on a regular basis.
4) I felt very comfortable working in that very environment as all of the co-workers motivated and supported me a lot as i was the youngest one in the team.
5) The toughest task of the job was to be patient when things were not going on your way and just keep on trying as our manager said "Be focused, Be determined but do not forget to keep smiling."
6) Talking to people was the best task in the job and keep yourself indulging with customers and enjoying the moments and crowd fun.

Primus was once a great place to work for but the many years of downsizing and company buyouts have left it a shell of its former self.      The workload is 3 times the amount it should be due to downsizing. They want more money but aren't willing to hirer more people to support their customers needs.   

Some management there is really good but mostly there is a lot of backstabbing going on for personal agenda. Their systems are outdated, slow and very buggy.

If you do decide to work there don't expect a professional experience. Just accept your paycheques and look for something different ASAP.

I learned much from working at Primus and have grown because of it. Essential qualities needed to succeed were learned through experience, such as confidence to talk to anyone, quick-thinking and above all, a positive attitude. The management went above and beyond the call of duty when I needed questions answered, and they formally introduced me to the sales workforce. 


Sales, is a new exper for me, but also an easy one I am talkative so, I can make the customer feel comfortable around me. And there were always new challenges as every day, as different weather conditions, which would effect the customer's mindset, so sometimes it is hard to talk to customers. And I have to stand inside the Costco.

needs and expectations.
The most enjoyable part of the job, is never
a dull moment.

No opportunities for growth. They pay less and make you do more work. They are always tracking your work and will be at your neck about it. 
The company is owned by an American company in which the American side of operations is doing bad. Hence people lost jobs so there is no job security and affects Canadian operations.

Receive inbound calls from Primus and Magma customers inquiring about products and services. Troubleshoot internet connection, for Windows and Mac, related to slow speed, connect to the internet but can’t browse a web page. Troubleshoot network problems. Install security software. Setup Outlook, Outlook Express and Mac Mail. Promote products and services.

The Original Management Team Awesome some of the strongest leaders in the industry, once Senior executive made the decision to sell assets original Ocean 11 Senior Management executed flawlessly and disbanded however once the B team came in the company has never been the same every since.

Loved every moment working for Primus. Learned so much about sales and customer service. Always been motivated to push hard for the company because they treat their employees with the most respect.
