If you like fast paced non stop work.  Then this place is for you. The 2 people on the warehouse floor. Are pretty good easy to get along with. Not much management  at the Winnipeg location. One person.   Your work day will start right at 6:30 am.  And you will not get a break. Until around 11:30 am. If you make a mistake on the paperwork. It will come back fast to you. They expect you to know everything about there warehouse in 2 to 3 days. Very very hot in the Summer time. No fans. Any ware.  Freezer in the Winter time.  The give you an old safety vest. With someone else’s sweat on it.  If you don’t ware it. Your not on the warehouse floor.   There is. No time clock !!!  Not much of safety gloves as well.   You start your day at 6:30 am. Thinking that most of the time your done by 3:00 pm. But make you stay some times 3 to 4 hours extra. 8 hours feels like 12 to 14 hour.  Then you have to stay extra 3 to 4 hours. Constantly bending. Lifting heavy load bars. Ect.  Like I said. No break until 11:30 am.  Make you work like a dog.  Took forever to to get your employment paperwork together.  Toxic Toxic Toxic 

1. Never recommended to work here. No internal growth. Even if you are qualified and a position is open, they will never let you apply for it. 
2. Terrible management and senior employees, never support or appreciate your work. 
3. The integrity of the Administration Manager is awful and no empathy whatsoever. .
4. No job security. They will fire you for no reason, by just saying business needs. 
5. If you use your time off, they suggest you to do not use it because that's how your grow by not using your leaves.
6. They never understand family situations. 
7. They never appreciate your hard work. 
8. Some managers think they know more, would never listen to ideas even if you are suggesting right thing. 
9. No proper training provided. 


If I could just give them less than 1 star I would have.

Pacific Coast Express has become a toxic and bizarre workplace. Dedicated, hardworking employees are let go without warning, reason, or even basic respect. Years of loyalty and consistent performance mean nothing to management, who operate with zero transparency and seem to make decisions based on personal whims rather than professionalism. Instead of addressing the real problems in the company—poor leadership, low morale, and lack of direction—they’ve resorted to hanging bells and scattering salt around the office to “ward off evil spirits.” Yes, seriously. It’s insulting and absurd. While good people are losing their jobs, management is more concerned with bad energy than bad decisions. The culture is driven by fear, confusion, and superstition, not logic or respect. If you're looking for a place to grow your career, look elsewhere. Pacific Coast Express has lost touch with reality—and lost the trust of its people in the process.


**Pros:**
- At times, the hours were set appropriately.
- The workload was manageable.
- Frontline staff at the terminal were very kind, making the workday enjoyable.

**Cons:**
- Upper management seems to have lost touch with how much work staff can handle when understaffed.
- They set unrealistic expectations for staff and frequently penalize them unfairly.
- Staffing issues are a constant problem within management.
- Employees are expected to work on statutory holidays.
- There is no real work-life balance, as management expects staff to work overtime at their discretion.

They keep putting more and more work on you, but when you expect to get fairly paid - they give some lame excuse. 
The only good thing I got from this company are my managers and their support. I have learnt a lot from them and they've had my back throughout, but as soon as I started asking for what I deserved (a basic fair compensation for the level of work and stress I was under), just silence. They'd rather let go of their hardworking and loyal employees than pay them properly.
Honestly, the senior vice president - THE MOST ENETHICAL AND IGNORANT PERSON TO MANAGE A BUSINESS.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very very poor logistics management and overall management. Employees are often fired without clear reasons, even those who have worked there for years. I eventually decided to resign because the management does not value or support their staff. There is no growth, no stability, and no respect for employees. Don’t waste your time here.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
 No growth, no stability, and no respect for employees.

The culture there is terrible. Back stabbing is common. Upper management is completely out of touch with the day to day operations and therefore makes unrealistic demands. There is zero appreciation shown for hard work and dedication..instead there is contant pressure to keep giving more more more. Wages are ridiculous for the volume of work expected. The general vibe is they are doing you a favor by letting you work there. 

Pretty easy job mostly because no one knows what is going on. If you are looking for career advancement or job security, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a fast easy job for short term, you’re in the right place. They will pretty much hire anyone and generally have no idea who’s doing what so pretty difficult to hold anyone accountable. Lots of layoffs and forced “vacations”. Friendly staff but the management culture is pretty ugly. Get in, get paid, get out. 

Everyone is warm and welcoming. It has a great atmosphere. I enjoy working with people and different nationalities. I like to take on more than what is implied. I enjoy keeping busy and going beyond what is excepted of me. The company took a chance with me and allowed me to grow and succeed in the whatever it was involved with my title. I really enjoyed working for this company.

The day after I was hired, management let my direct manager go, who was widely regarded by senior deliveries and warehousing staff as the best manager they had here. They value money over well being and gaslight you into working past your shift end time. Poorly managed, by two faced managers who will shake your hand and stab you in the back.
