There were no "typical days", every day was different which made it interesting. 
You could have 3 off site meetings a day (which I enjoyed getting out face to face and connecting with clients) or a day full of admin due to all of the back end admin requirements or which could sometimes slow down a 100% commission based sales rep (which at times, was inefficient and unneccessary). 
With such a large inventory of people and products to manage at  headquarters, I am sure the company had its' challenges at times. What I appreciated was everyone's hard work and efforts.
The local Ottawa office was amazing in terms of colleagues and support where needed; I still keep in touch with my former Pattison colleagues. 
The hardest part of the job was trying your best in a 100% commission based sales environment, but sometimes having no control over your income if sales fell through, or cancellations happened and clawbacks on clients who didn't pay their bills on time despite your best efforts. 
I really appreciated the marketing team's support and help; I learned a lot from them. They were a great group of knowledgeable dedicated individuals trying their best to support their reps in a highly competitive, often cut-throat industry.

Awesome management, but lots of changes has left the people in that company feeling shifted in job tasks.  A lot of structual changes have left departments unfamiliar with each job tasks therefore causing confusion.  More knowledge of other job tasks within the internal network could benefit. 

An all around training guide to unify the company could result in more productive escalation of issues.  Liasing between departments can take a long before client gets a response time.

The people at Pattison are all awesome, they have great attention to detail in personal and work life balance.  This company tries to accomidate every aspect of life, trying to be there for their employees.

Pattison Outdoor is one of the most amazing places to work. It comes down to the people. Everyone here is welcoming, and treats you like instant family. This company challenges you, appreciates you, and helps you advance in your career. The environment is fun, friendly, and you always feel respected for the work you do. There's perks, rewards, and incentives along the way. I've worked here for 13 years and can't even look another way to work somewhere else.

A typical day at work were never get boring.  I learnt a lot  in the media and advertising industry.  The management is very caring and respectful.  My co-workers are those mixes of personalities where we truly complemented one another.  I could enthusiastically work and support every one of them.  The hardest part of the job was handling the high volumes of utility bills in a timely manner.  That challenge makes coming to work every day really interesting and attractive.

There is not a single bad thing to say about Pattison, it is truly the greatest company I’ve ever worked for. The management is incredible, the people are great, the perks are fantastic and the social events are amazing! Truly an honour to have worked with the best team in advertising. 

Worst company I ever worked for. Horrible mgmt and pay and benefits was awful. Favoritism and childish work environment. Was like high school everyday. Efforts were not appreciated. Sales people brow beat and mgmt was disconnected. Personal information was regularity shared with other team members... information that should have been confidential.

My ex manager wasn’t at all a  good person in and out of the company. PS do yourself a favour and NEVER trust HR to stand up for you as an loyal long time experienced employee . I learned a hard life lesson regarding HR.  Not employee friendly behind your back. Face to face is an act.  

I've been at Pattison for almost 10 years and I have no plans on leaving that's for sure. It is a great place to work and the job is fulfilling and never boring. Fun and fast-paced you feel a real sense of accomplishment doing your job well with the great team around you.

Amazing place to work! The people were exceptionally professional and employees were treated very well. "Work hard, and play hard" seemed to be the motto. One of the truly best professional experiences I've ever had!

Not the best place for work life balance,Very nice people to work with,limited room for growth ,workload can fluctuate at any given time. You get to learn a lot about outdoor media products.
