What is the best part of working at Toyota Lexus company?
Going home at the end of a long day. You don't get paid for any overtime but get docked 15 minutes for being a few minutes late. Lunch is only 30 minutes and no 15 minute breaks.

What is the most stressful part about working at the Toyota Lexus?
Getting called out during the weekly meeting caused me stress. Management embarrasses their employees in front of the other coworkers during the weekly meetings. They think that this will motivate people but it has the opposite effect because after the meeting you feel beat up on.  You will feel like a number and if your numbers suck there isn't anywhere to turn for help. You will be told what to do but no one shows you what to do.

What about the Toyota Lexus Management?
It's beyond terrible because there are too many managers and each have their own unique management style. Employees are set up to fail from the onset. The dealership has a sink or swim mentality doesn't work. There should be a clear direction and if you do something wrong management lets to sink rather than help you make corrections. Management will always take the side of the customer even when their complaint is unwarranted.

What is the workplace culture like at Toyota Lexus?
Toxic and not a working team environment. New Employees should be accepted for who they are and they aren't. Coworkers talk about each other and created an environment of division. You will be sucked in as a new person because of the desire of the coworkers to grow their Toxic Army and if you resist joining the Toxic Army then you become a target so be prepared.

What is a typical day like for you at Toyota Lexus?
Selling like any other typical dealership except Toyota Lexus is special. The expectation is to come to work and smile. The customer isn't always right and complain about little things. Cars will always make sounds and noises because they have engines and they are driven on roads that are often less than perfect. The only time a car is whisper quiet is when it's park with the engine off.

What is the worst part of working at Toyota Lexus company?
No support from management and no structured training, you learn on the fly. Customers often are upset with the car they bought, often because they have unrealistic expectations. Recalls are not the fault of the dealership. Cars breakdown and it they never did then there would be no need to have mechanics fix them.

Would you recommend Toyota Lexus for employment?
Yes. If you have previous sales experience working at previous dealerships and can show up to work, keep your mouth shut and can play the game, apply. If you have experience at kissing up to management, that will definitely help you be successful here.

The dealership is only a year old and so some things are a bit forgiving because the company is still finding its feet but overall the experience was very stressful and the rewards versus work put in just weren't balanced. Management is more concerned with what your doing wrong than what your doing right which makes it hard to stay motivated. If you are looking for a place to start learning the car business this isnt a bad place to start because they do offer mandatory meetings that teach you mostly the ins and outs of the business. However many of these meetings tend to turn into management boasting about why this is the best place to work over anywhere else, and anyone who knows better knows thats not the case. Also there not meetings really, more like classroom environment. Also job security isnt there at all, people consistently getting fired or quitting. Also tons of fire violations and shady business practise makes this not the greatest place to work.

I have worked at Autoplanet since its inception and seen it only grow to a very successful dealership. The work environment is really amazing. I would not say this just because I work here, but simply not micromanaged like other places. The management has always been supportive and caring. Never seen this attitude elsewhere. But they expect you to perform your duties like you mentioned in the interview. Determination is what is required. Focus on your job. Forget about your salary raise, position. You had said Yes to everything when you joined. Success will always come to those who do not whine( seen a few posts of former staff crying about their pays and positions). You are always watched by management. The harder you work, the better is your pay. In any sales job its the norm. Your attitude, your passion makes you the money you desire.
All in all an absolutely fantastic place to work.

the position was pretty easy going and straight forward. there was barely any work to be done, so it was a relaxed and quiet position, and pretty much the same for Saturdays. hardest part of the job was the level of professionalism from management. and management beyond the general manager and also from HR. Colleagues and regular employees were great. The old GM acted upon favouritism and well didn't serve the level of professionalism and confidentiality, glad they got rid of him. Other than that great place to work, just beware of the service receptionist, shes a very mean person and she still hired when shes bad for business. Good luck to anyone wanting to work for this establishment, at least in the service department.

Working at AutoPlanet has been great, I've been working here for just over a year and have been encouraged to move into a different department throughout the dealership already. 

The processes and efficiency that the dealership runs at makes every departments job much easier and smoother. Everyone works together as one department and one moving ship.

In the year and some I've been here I've witnessed multiple promotions and position changes for everyone from every department, because of the constant growth AutoPlanet is doing there is room for opportunity for every individual.

I don't plan on going anywhere soon AutoPlanet has been the best experience I've had working in the car business for the last 6 years.

Truth be told. The company is really nice to work at in the sense that if you are really passionate about cars, you will love it here. They have every make and model making it a fun place to work at. However, it is very stressful and tiring. You will be required to run around and chase after your customers. It is sales. So the your pay cheque is dictated by the hustle you put in. Definitely not for everyone. I personally feel like you won't have too much of a work/life balance in the sense that you sometimes for your customers will have to be there 7 days a week so even on your off days. Job varies person to person depending on their needs and wants from a job. But if your willing to work many hours and hard, you can make a lot of money through bonuses for sure.

Hi I worked at place but when I quit and to take my 400$ on vacation pay that day s so hurting I worked for Glenleaven Cheryler they make you wash cars in the spring which ok but when you hit the winter you would think oh ok washing cars for customers is done ohhh no you continue the wash even if it -34 they don’t care on you they say family but the manager is a big dick I hope this lottle place shuts down I asked for a raise never got it now it’s been a months and they have no one because the rate they are giving people just for future treat you employees right because your going to have a hard time finding people all I know is when my friends make a time and interview and what the manager tells what they are getting we have a good kick to it  good luck and people Run away trust me

A typical day at work would include myself coming in early for work, checking my tasks to do, replying back to customer emails, greeting customers who walk-in, show them a vehicle of interest, understand their needs and interests, take them on a test drive, go over pricing and vehicle options and add-ons, negotiate pricings, go over financing rates, closing deals. I have learned a lot from management here as they push you to your limits. Every day is a new day and new tasks are created. Dealing with new kinds of people and personalities on an everyday basis made the job fun. The job was a mix of sitting and running around, which was great and kept things flowing. My co-workers were amazing, as everyone worked as a family.

The worst part of the job is the money money money!! You have to rely on other departments to determine your paycheck!!!!!

Other companies do not do this and they don't tell you until your hired!!!

The managers are the only ones making decent salary....They say they promote within.....But they actually hire outside of the dealership...Thats a fact!!!! Ive seen people work there for 4 years!!! With great work ethic and no promotion!!!

The bonuses are a poor as well, they expect you to do the most work but never give realistic bonuses!!!

A company that makes alot of money but simply doesn't want to share !!!

Save yourself the time and energy and stress, and work for a corporate company not this dealership!! You will be paid what you deserve!!!

High turnaround rate!!!!

Everyday come for attendance at 8:30 am if you shift starts at 9:00 am 
If you are off on Wednesday still come for a meeting and spend half a day working
You are off on Sunday every alternate week but you pressured to still work without getting paid
The system of bonus works to the benefit of the company they don't want you to complete the sales. 
Hald of the sales won't go through because of Fiance manager or delivery or service either one will make a hurdle for you in each sale you make
Finance managers will screw the salesperson/customer will do screw you for getting screwed/last but not least managers will blame and scold you for everything.
