Service managers are great guys, really do their best to keep everyone happy to the best of their ability; other managers and higher-ups hold the SMs back from doing what needs to be done to satisfy service dept. You really are disposable here, one small slip up and some people just get booted out the door. Techs and advisors are overall a good bunch, few bad seeds in the shop. Gravy suckers, people who complain when others make more hours, refuse "hard" work and just take the easy stuff. Warranty makes it harder and harder to make hours. Benefits are great, wages are pretty good. Really difficult for apprentices to learn and advance here, stuck doing oil/tyres/free small stuff or warranty repairs, with really no exposure to real work, such as electrical diagnoses. Some managers think they're better then us "little people" and it shows. Wouldn't recommend for apprentices, would recommend for licensed techs. Helpful parts department, but overworked due to not having everyone back due to COVID. 
People get pushed out for complaining or standing up to others/for others. People get fired for, in thr grand scheme of things, small accidents. People are overworked and upset. SMs can only do so much, but they do their best.

Management is there to waste your time and make you feel like you are worth nothing, your hard-work means nothing to them, all they do is think of how to take away your salaries for their own gain for their lack of capabilities.

Mirco-management to the point that you cannot breathe, you are doing 3-4 people's job, they do not hire people or acknowledge the fact that their employees are already working way harder than they should of, people who need to feed their kids and families will have no choices but they will keep taking advantage of you.

Feels like a franchise no structural kinda company that you work for, you can start working for weeks and they can still tell you, your phone is not set up yet, call IT yourself and figure it out while they will throw you in the pitch within 1-2 weeks, they do not care if you are not ready, they are too busy to deal with anything that upper management throws at them. The higher position they are, the less work they do and they leave early and provide nothing for the workers. 

Well, the only good thing is if you can make it through here, you can basically make it through anywhere since this is the worst place I've ever worked in.

You can ask anyone who's currently working for them and they know that the company is going downhill. 

Working at Pfaff was an incredibly demotivating and disheartening experience. The management was utterly ineffective, with no clear communication or organization.  The workplace felt like a zombieland, with people showing up each day with no real passion or drive. There was no sense of progress or accomplishment, just a cycle of repetitive, soul-draining work. People became disengaged, doing the bare minimum to get by, stuck in a monotonous 9-to-5 grind with no room for growth or change. The atmosphere was heavy and bleak, and it felt like everyone was just waiting for the clock to run out, other employees wouldn't even smile. Morale was consistently low, and it was clear that no one was invested in improving their situation, stuck in a 9-to-5 rut with no room for growth or positive change. You weren’t treated as a valued team member, but just another cog in the machine. IF YOU HAVE BIG DREAMS FOR YOURSELF DO NOT WORK HERE. 






Working for Pfaff BMW of Mississauga was a good experience, everyone worked well together to form a good work enviornment for the most part. Pfaff as an automotive group offers competitive pay structures, benifits and rrsp contribution which is a plus.
I would say that it was very unexpected how Pfaff handled covid-19 lay offs. It really showed that in a time of need the company turned their back on very experienced and veteran employees with no communication or expected time of return. Many employees were forced to find other jobs due to the uncertainty the automotive group gave them.This is very unfortunate because overall Pfaff has been great to work for.


A typical day at work would be me coming in and moving the cars in the service garage and also bring cars from previous days upfront for pickup. Id also perform oil top ups and tire pressure checks with also the mind of moving tires especially when winter season comes along. The management made things simple for me and to execute my daily tasks without to much trouble and with that the workplace culture was normally good and fast. The hardest part of my job was a certain time of the month where we would have double the normal appointments due to the popularity of the dealership in resulting to many customers coming in for oil changes and tire season. With that the most enjoyable part of the job was seeing all those nice cars like the R8 and enjoy the racing heritage the company had with its own racing team professionally.

I had the pleasure of working with some of the finest colleagues and managers throughout my career at Pfaff. A shame it came to an end the way it did, but I will never forget the experience; Teams are encouraged to look after one another and while there is the inevitable workplace infighting, it is usually tamped down by the overall culture of customer service and team spirit that is promoted throughout Lithia/Pfaff. A great place to work and grow, promotion from within is not only possible but encouraged. I cannot speak for all locations, but I thank all of management for the lessons learned and the experience gained at the locations in which I served. The benefits were fantastic, and stock options are available after a certain time in service.

Work hard here, and you will be rewarded for it.

I was a former employee at the company. Moved to different positions and learned different things everyday. I felt appreciated in the beginning and when changes occurred, I was let go. I asked for a valid reason and wasn’t given one. Hope this company knows to value good people and hard workers like myself instead of labeling people as a number. I’ve made many compromises and I barely got any recognition for it in return. I had some great managers that treated me well and I respect them for that. I hope that upper management sees the reality of how people are being treated in this company. Value the fact that you’re getting a 1 star rating, and I’m just being generous. If the option was available, I’d say 0. 

let me just say this place had some amazing sale people really nice and open but to bad they were mange by 2 manger that didn't care about their employee but only care about number. 1 of the manager walks around like he is always mad and the OTHER comes in and just sit at the desk and doesnt help with anything even  when customer ask for them they are almost nowhere to be found. The upper management was worse doesn't see anything below happening. I recommend if working here to be aware of who is who to much personal relationship happening inside this dealership.

welcoming environment and good remuneration. experiences vary depending on your ability to fully contribute to the dealerships success. striving for extra success is not fully valued or noticed. introducing new beneficial concepts is not recommended. placement, sponsored and student worker's were given more liberties than regular hired staff. if you can integrate by playing your part and not promoting yourself through additional tasks, this is a good workplace. if not, they will lose a superior employee.

Very corrupt. Managers don’t care about employees. They use them, call them names behind closed doors, will use and abuse people until they don’t need them anymore. We fire 2-3 people a week over small things. Disgusting. Rub someone the wrong way? Expect to be fired. The company always has a hidden agenda especially senior management. By far the worst company… You are better off at another automotive group who actually care about their people, pay people decently, invest in their people. Trust me when I tell you to RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!
