I worked here for almost 10 years. With the guidance of my manager, I was able to learn so much that I was able to bring forth with me to the positions I have managed to work going forward. Management was very supportive of my growth and continued to encourage me everyday. HOWEVER, having worked part time, and as a supervisor, I was left many times to do managerial work from hiring to payroll. I would manage multiple departments in the absence of managers, and managed to build great relationships with colleagues as well as customers.

I enjoyed a lot most part of the job, The management were sociable, understanding and approachable, very flexible as well. The workers were amazing people.Became knowledgeable of supervised of all tasks of the aspects of the front end.The sad thing happened, the store closed down.

The only reason I was working in Price Chopper was for me to gather my community hours for secondary school. My experience volunteering there was really great cause I got to learn a lot of different working skills. I was eligible to have close friendships  with a lot of the workers and make a good, strong team.

This was not one of the most memorable jobs I've had. Some of the supervising staff didn't seem to take their work very seriously. I was constantly cleaning up things that should have been cleaned in the shift before mine.

Managers provide inconsistent schedule with ranging anywhere from 15-37 hours per week. You don't get the following week's schedule until Friday so you can't make plans. Compensation is barely above minimum wage. Co-workers are what make this job worth it while between jobs.

Just cut my hours down to 8 per week trying to get me to quit ...it is discrimination ..This is the truth I am so sad I loved my job but the night managers at 7 and duncan are liets and cheaters. But I will never quit because I did nothing wrong

Price Chopper is a very relaxed and slow-paced environment for the most part. All the staff and managers are easy going and the job itself is not challenging at all. It is the perfect job for both beginners and experienced workers.

I learned much to help me in future years of grocery store business. Thankful to the training and support given to me from more experienced staff and management staff.

Working @PriceChopper was fun and most of the co- workers/employees got along well.The only issue I had when I left was that I didn't get enough Hours.

I did not work there for very long. Management was not the greatest. Supervisors were rude and very authoritative. Supervisors do not preach what they sow.
