The people who run the operations in Calgary Airport: the managers and a few supervisors were completely unprofessional in many ways. Global’s Passenger Service Agents in YYC cover domestic flights operated by Flair airlines but they do not follow proper flair standards. Favouritism at its finest in this base in YYC. Only their favourite new hires become supervisors and no seniority is maintained. They hire only on part-time basis on minimum wage $15.00 and no benefits provided and mangers always call and text on personal cellphone to cover shift because they are always short staff! No safety shoes, vest or winter attire provided after hired-nor enough and proper sized uniforms are provided. No staff cafeteria is available for Agents so you have to sit and eat in a small office while on your break and supervisors are preparing the flight reports! People that manages Global’s operation in Calgary Airport is experienced with no education related to the airline industry and no proper training and leadership skills which makes work extremely stressful. Calgary Airport Authority and Labour Standard Alberta should audit this place often and warn Global Aviation Services to maintain safe and healthy work environment in YYC.

I guess to my knowledge one thing I really dislike is the amount of pesons per shift, for example: if they have 3 people and 15 aircraft to groom they expect us to to them all, or 1 person versus 14 aircrafts and writing on paperwork that "due to little staff most aircraft werent completed" being honest is one way to go in a company. Treating employess like its their right to go into work on their days off also is con from not the company but the manager. To my knowledge if it's our day off it is in our right to say "No" even if they get mad. 

The workplace is good, certainly working with people who want to take the lead and if they know what excatly paperwork is asking for, knowing contunously what aircraft to go next or where they are is an asset from my point of view. Certainly as the lead I try to notice if the person is a slow learning when training, if so I try to have as much patince, and focus on their work repeating and pointing out to him/her what they are doing wrong and how they can improve in the situation. my biggest inquiry is to put their safety first and and later mine.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this company. From day one, management has been disorganized, unprofessional, and completely disconnected from employees’ needs. Communication is inconsistent, expectations change without notice, and there is little to no support when problems arise. Promises about growth opportunities and work-life balance turned out to be empty words. Instead, the workload is overwhelming, deadlines are unrealistic, and appreciation for hard work is nonexistent.
The workplace culture is equally frustrating. Favoritism is obvious, teamwork is weak, and concerns raised by staff are often ignored. Rather than encouraging collaboration and innovation, leadership seems more focused on micromanaging and placing blame. Training is minimal, yet employees are criticized for mistakes they were never properly guided to avoid.
Overall, this company fails to value its workers or create a positive environment. I would not recommend working here unless major changes are made to leadership, communication, and employee support.

Based on Calgary YYC experience...
It's a very toxic work environment. Management sets a very aggressive and inappropriate tone that makes workers feel on guard constantly. Middle management obviously favors employees from their culture with social invites, advancement opportunities, and policy exceptions made.
Operations manager was openly mysogynistic, insulted people's intelligence publically, pitted employees against one another and micromanaged to the point he was caught multiple times hiding in the airport to watch and listen to employees. 
There is no HR on site so no members of upper management ever witness the inappropriate behavior and any complaints become your word against theirs with them favoring management's side, no matter how many complaints are brought forward. Turn over is the highest I've ever seen at a company.

In a time when people are looking for Jobs this Company Prime FLIGHT sits at the Top Of Exploitation. Hard work & Initiative is not welcomed here. I wonder if the real top Bosses at this Company really know how the Management & Supervisors treat Staff. No respect you are over worked and severely underpaid for the type of work that you do. Alot of people are afraid to stand for there rights especially when there is no Union attached to this Company they basically do what they want. Human Resources was the best part of this Job. When you get hired it's a Night Mare from Start to finish. Better off looking for a good Job because what you see on the outside inside this Company every employee is unhappy,Stressed and overworked. Do not work here look elsewhere!

Worst company I have ever worked for. Management is extremely biased and favoritism is obvious. Promotions and easier duties are given based on personal connections rather than performance or hard work.
Managers are rarely available, avoid responsibility, and do not support staff. Many supervisors spend more time hiding or avoiding work while frontline employees are under constant pressure. The workload is heavy, staffing is poor, and stress levels are extremely high.
If you are not part of the manager’s inner circle, be prepared for a very difficult time. Employees outside favored groups are overworked, ignored, and treated unfairly. There is no transparency, no appreciation, and no respect for employees.
I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company unless they have no other option.

Every company at the airport that does the same job pays better and dosent expect you to break your back. Every employee complains of back pain. The company offers little respect and dose not hire as often as it should so everyone feels very overworked. I wouldn't be surprised if this company looses its contracts and lays ppl off soon.
The employees are pretty nice but management doesn't answer emails and you must pay attention to your hours worked because it is common they rip you off. 
Also, never work overtime because they refuse to pay overtime.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay. That's literally it. The overnight people have no order. It's all chaos .

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The Leads don't have home training it seemed like. They don't seem to have manners and can't be respectful if their lives depended on it.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was like a fever dream. Clock in  and you're just all over the place because the overnight crew doesn't know what procedure is and how to communicate properly. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Clock in, get on a plane , get yelled at as you're working, most of thr people are 50 60 , they're old and grumpy and just meanies.

We are contracted by an airline, during my employment we’re not allowed to have drinks in check in counter (even water), shifts are 4-5 hours minimum and can go up to 10 hrs without any BREAK. We are not permitted to go to the bathroom, there is one instance where the airline supervisor would even follow you to the bathroom if you were gone for more than 5 minutes. 

Good if you like aviation.as long as you work safe and smart and not scared of heights and don't mind handling heavy luggage  then you'll like it. Unlike other companies they have a more relaxed schedule with only 3 to 4 international carriers and one domestic so the schedule can allow for downtime to relax depending on what your assignments are.the bagroom can be chaotic with piling up suitcases.but wingwalking 737s to triple 7s to 787 planes can be fun.lots to learn.a definite job for avgeeks .
