Worked as a PT for two years. 
Fair opportunity to be used as a stepping stone. 
This company operates as high volume, short patient-therapist assessment time and follow up. Opportunity to learn about third party payers and associated paperwork but with little opportunity for mentor ship. You will learn on the job, as you do it, without any proper and formal training time. 
Yes there may be FCAMPT trained or those with level 3 manual therapy, however they are just as busy and will not have time to mentor. 
I loved my colleagues, including fellow PTs, RMTs, PTAs, kins, and admin staff. However, you are part of a factory of producing numbers and patients per day. 
This is not conducive to long term growth. 
Bottom line: if you are a physio who wants to hone your skills, mentor and learn from fellow colleagues, and maximize patient care and optimize their function, this is not the place for you. 


Working here was fun at first, but quickly became stressful. It was in my field for university and a good opportunity to have something I could put on my resume, but it is not sustainable as your only full time job. They don't pay nearly enough for the work you are expected to do. I started off doing what was outlined in my contact but eventually was expected to do various tasks outside my scope with no increase in pay with the increased responsibility. My coworkers were getting paid the same for doing half the work I did. I also had to learn everything myself on the go as there wasn't any proper training either. Our manager was nice and my coworkers and I got along, but the added pressure from corporate to sell items and push more expensive treatment options made me feel like it was more about generating money than helping people get better. 

I've been with Pro Physio since I graduated in 2010. Lots of opportunity for growth within the company through other physio's; many courses (free & discounted), working along side a team (massage, exercise therapist, OT, chiro, etc). I particularly liked the mentorship from my manager, and the PT Exam prep classes/groups/bell ringers.  Really helped prepare me for the practical exam and also loved the physio community as well.  I also liked the flexibility to pickup extra hours within the company for extra $.

Fast paced environment but very enjoyable with the help of PTAs & Exercise therapists.  Very organized and the day flows well. I also really enjoy the variety of caseload to keep me challenged. Lots of possiblity to grow in terms of skills, as well as position (manager, area manager, etc).  

I've been working here for over 15 years, its a great and caring company to work for. I had started as an assistant and moved up career wise to a physiotherapist. Its been and continues to be a great experience with lots room to progress if it is your chosen career path. I received a wide variety of experiences that helped my get into my program in school. You have the chance to gain many different types of experiences on both the clinical side and admin side of the company. Its a great job to be able to learn and grow.

I am a long term employee with Pro Physio and have held a variety of roles.  I love the focus on patient care and the freedom to explore areas of interest with support for further training.  Whenever I have  suggested a new stream of service or care,the answer is always “how can we make it work?” and never “no!”  While recent restructuring has meant a steep learning curve, the changes have given the organization the structure to grow further and support the employees with clearer lines of communication.  Kudos to Pro Physio!

Any of the multiple locations has exceptionally knowledgable staff, very collaborative, and forward thinking. Patients always come first! Being under the Lifemark umbrella, there are a lot of resources available as well for continuing education and professional development. I highly recommend!

I have worked for Pro Physio for almost 7 years and really enjoy the collaborative and supportive nature of this company. I have grown professionally, steadily moving my way up to managing a team without getting pushed out of my role as a physiotherapist. I love the fast-paced environment and rewarding feeling I get from working on such an excellent team.

I was here for 5 years and I loved every minute of it. The owners of the company are very kind and will help you with whatever you need. The clients were always very kind and the staff were helpful and kept you motivated to always do better. 
There are lots of locations to choose from so you can find somewhere close to home. The hours are very fair and so is the pay. I would return back to this job in a moment. I miss everyone.

You would work 7am-8pm if no coverage, the shift turnover was a mess. Loved my coworkers, but the company needs to have a diversity of management and SOMEONE THAT KNOWS HOW TO BE A MANAGER. You work overtime but no overtime pay, your hours are being cut off for no reason, and no benefits either. You get paid minimum wage for the work that you do.

Avoid this company. Nepotism, long shifts, no coverage, no breaks, no benefits. All the owners care about is money and getting clients through the doors with no regard for safety of fellow staff members. If you are not related to the owner there is no room to grow with this company.
