It has been a delightful experience working here. My typical day starts with checking lead emails, voicemail, and texts, followed by scheduling tours across three new luxury buildings. I have had the opportunity to collaborate closely with various key stakeholders, including the leasing manager, assistant leasing manager, property management, and marketing team.

One of the aspects I appreciate the most is the fast-paced nature of the work. It can get quite busy, but that's precisely when you have the chance to earn the most commissions. The cooperative work environment is phenomenal, where everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand. The people I work with are not only friendly but also genuinely wonderful.

Working here has significantly enhanced my multitasking skills. Being comfortable with talking to people and putting them at ease during property tours has been crucial. Listening attentively to their needs and preferences allows me to find the best fit among the available options. What sets this company apart is the absence of cut-throat competition among agents. Instead, we support and assist each other, promoting teamwork and a positive atmosphere.

Overall, my experience with this company has been highly rewarding. The camaraderie, the challenging yet fulfilling nature of the work, and the opportunities for growth have made it a truly enjoyable journey.

Unfortunately I had to leave this position because I was moving but will greatly miss everyone I got to work with, and can only hope I get along with my team a fraction as much in my next job. 

I've been with ProCura for just over a year and this was a brand-new position for them. I had a month with my manager before she went on MAT leave and I was supposed to report to the Property Manager while she was off, but he was replaced with a new Property Manager. There was a lack of guidance at the start because of this, but my manager and the COO were always open to any feedback and willing to work with me to sort things out. 

I was originally hired to do social media & events for one residential apartment, but that quickly expanded to social media for three properties, as well as the parent company, and events for two, soon to be three, buildings. It has taken a lot of trial-and-error to figure out the perfect mix for everything, but I am  ultimately left in charge to make decisions without being micro-managed. 

It's a smaller team, so there are times where everyone needs to band together to accomplish something, even if it's outside of your regular tasks. Things can get overwhelming (especially at the beginning/end of the month), but co-workers are willing to assist you if you speak up. 

I love getting to know our residents at the events I organize and working closely with the Leasing Team is so much fun. You're exposed to a lot of different aspects of this business and staff are very welcoming. 

ProCura Real Estate Company has shown zero growth in the almost year I worked with the company. The lack of communication and mentoring was below the bare minimum. 

The turnaround with employees is embarrassing to say the least. As a past employee I am able to say that upper management is unstable and immature with seniority. 

Favoritism is evident, with no compassion for your personal life or mental health.

As a young adult, this company has shown me the inexperience individuals have even after 6 plus years in a company. The lack of leadership and moral in the work place is at an all time low. I have never felt more used in all my life for free labour and not being compensate for my hard work. 

As a young adult I hope more people my age will learn not to be discriminated against for standing up for themselves, and not staying quite when their mental health and personal lives are constantly being affected. 

ProCura Real estate Company may be a family company but they treat their employees like outsiders unless you go down to their level. 

I started as a leasing agent almost 3 years ago, and have grown into leasing and marketing manager. The COO meets with me regularly to discuss my career path and has set out a development plan and goals to help me continue to grow myself and my team. 

The company is also very involved in giving back to the community. They have created an organization called signs of change and with the support of their project partners they have matched all donations and have helped raised over 2 million dollars for at risk youth. 

You get to meet a lot of great people, both the team you work with and potential new residents. It's really cool to see the new buildings as they come up too, and the suites are really nice, so they are easy to rent. Location right by the LRT is great if you don't drive, but you are also given a free parking

Procura has always had problems and I was warned before not to go there and its true they will never change there hire and fire attitude. No one lasts longer than three years and that alone is a red flag. They have for many years been known for hiring and firing people for no good reason. I seen it happen often. They hire very talented people and use them for a few months or a couple years and then fire them.  

It was good that my former boss hired me here after my job loss, however, the top management are not supportive at all with their down level staff and would not care if you are going to stay or not. But the good this is, when this happened government opportunity opens up and I got the job and still connected happy and contented up to this moment.

The industry itself is very fast paced, so you do need to be on the ball but I find it really easy to talk to everyone about when I need assistance. I find the work engaging and a welcomed-challenge. Everyone is great to work with. There are really busy times of year, like in any career driven industry, but also means there are times when your schedule is very flexible. 

I started in 2003, and with the economic challenges and disruptive markets, Procura’s leader & CEO directed us through very challenging times   Team work, transparency  and integrity are key along with giving back and reinvesting in the communities.

Not a healthy work environment that I recommend to anyone. if you fall under the operation team you most likely won’t know who is your boss as you will be getting directions from almost everyone in the office.However, on the other hand the base salary is slightly higher than other property management companies .
