If I could give them millions of negative stars, I definitely would. They are deceitful, like snakes. Don't join them unless you're prepared for a potentially miserable experience. They lure young people in by promising high positions or ownership, but often through expensive stock options. Most of Stock investment income goes to tax, do not attract with that offer. It sounds like a terrible place to work, with poor communication on top of everything else. They want report writers and, marketing people who goes to clients, bring the job and let it done by whoever the staff they have because they don’t know how to do it. Clients  will cry forever. They offer them manager position. Managers are just to say  managers, most of their take home amounts are considerably low. Because mostly kind of marketing people there and hardly any technically knowledgeable people there. One day, this company might be flooded with marketing report writers using ChatGPT AI. Newcomers could then find themselves struggling to compete and potentially miss out on valuable opportunities to learn at their age which they might get at other places. At least  good mentors are available I would definitely suggest to join. The QA is just to claim time, not real QA because hardly they have knowledge. Old staff is slowly getting retired and eventually out one day, can’t effort when they want to see everything in profit. 

Working with the RVA team in Ottawa has been a great experience for me; despite the professional work attitude, there is a very friendly environment in the office. Our managers and supervisors are very supportive and knowledgeable. During the past three years that I have been working for RVA, I have never seen anyone complain or argue about anything as everyone possesses a sense of responsibility when in comes to deadlines and quality of work. If I didn't have to move to Toronto to be with my family I would never want to think about leaving this company.

Every junior employee is assigned a mentor who is a senior engineer and has the responsibility of training, answering questions and reviewing the work of the junior staff. This was absolutely fantastic when I first joined the team since I was afraid what was going to happen if I don't know how to do this and that!

The best time of a typical day at RVA is the lunch time where everyone sit around a dining table, eat, read news, share stories and try their chances in winning the Sudoku Trophy! we play Sudoku at lunch times and the winner takes the Sudoku Trophy and gets to keep it at his/her office until the next game!

the company has nice events and employee engagement. very collaborative and flexible. few bad apples in management that are not as professional, 
several language barriers and upper level has ethnical issues. 
They favor certain ethnics and hire based on race instead of competents but they do sometimes treat them terrible which is hard to watch. Certain management micro-manage which is h*ll
Lot of turnovers and poor training structure they just throw you in there.

RVA is an absolutely great place to work at! The work culture is amazing and all staff are really welcoming and friendly. You feel appreciated and valued as an employee and the social activities hosted by the company are fun and creative. The number of social events and mental health check-ins increased throughout the pandemic to provide employees with a safe space to check in and support one another and also engage in fun virtual activities. RVA is also a great place for growth. The company invests in the growth of all employees and provides opportunities for employees to develop skills. Overall, a great place to work and grow in!

The company has a great official policy for work life balance but has no concept of how to implement it. Of course it's a business first but the company doesn't care about helping people to advance they just assume you will do it without training or mentoring.
Management only cares about well being of there is no work. Otherwise you are an office tool to be consumed.

Started two weeks in the office then the pandemic hit and all were to work from home.  It was a bit of a adjustment not having upper management in person to ask questions or concerns but they were there when I needed any help through online communication.  RVA is a great place to work despite working from home and online, as they really push a nice work culture and activities for employees to participate in which was very good.  Upper management did their absolute best to help with any questions.

Company offers a variety of experience and full technical support. As well, the company has high credibility in the water treatment industry in Ontario.

Its good to work every day and meet your Congolese discussing in many subjects. As you work you are able to learn and get training, although during work you suffer some challenges but when you finished and solved that challenge you feel good and manged good. Always, work shows you many types of people and you learn the culture of those people through work. The most interesting in work when you finished this job correctly and feel you great deal.

Being a mid-sized engineering firm, RV Anderson has a tougher work-life culture than a large firm. If you work hard you will be rewarded, but if you work average you will generally not. That being said, their culture and management is just fantastic. They really make you feel at-home with the company and welcome, and there are always people who are happy to lend a helping hand. It is a fantastic place to learn, and if you work hard, a fantastic place to grow.

Being an engineer at this company, especially at the Fredericton office is a dream-come-true!  Professionally high standards, very smart co-workers, the manager is an excellent mentor, superb professional engineer, very good personality!  All-in-all its a great place to work.
